Chapter 10

The girls went back to practice after their water break to work on their motions, sideline cheers, chants, dances and work on their competition routine. After that the girls took another water break before the last half hour of practice they did conditioning. Baylee “Am I taking you home Talia, is Drake or your parents taking you home after practice?” Talia “Yeah you can take Haylee and I home Baylee because our parents don’t get home from work until eight o’clock but let me text my parents and Drake to let them know you’re taking us home.” Talia texts her parents and Drake to ask them if it’s okay for Baylee to take Talia and Haylee home after cheer practice and all three of them respond that it’s okay for Baylee to take Talia and Haylee home. Talia “All three of them said it’s okay for you to take us home after practice.” Baylee “Okay good!” The girls went back to practice to start conditioning before practice is over. The time is 5:30 and cheer practice is over, Talia and her sister Haylee were getting a ride home from Baylee since their parents are still at work and won’t get home until 8:00. Baylee was also giving Jackie and Natasha a ride home from practice as well because their parents work late just like Talia and Haylee’s parents. Baylee dropped off Haylee and Talia at their home.

Haylee and Talia just got home from cheerleading practice, but Brayden, Frankie and Josh were not home from football practice yet because the varsity and jv football teams don’t get done with practice until six o’clock. Their younger sisters Lilliana and Payton and their younger brother Nick were already home from school since before four o’clock. Talia “How was your first day of school guys?” Lilliana “My day was good. I have cheerleading tryouts for the freshmen team tomorrow afternoon.” Haylee “That’s good! Are you ready and prepared?” Lilliana “Yes but maybe you two can help me please I think it will help me.” Talia “Sure. Haylee and I will help you prepare you for tomorrow and that way you’ll make the team.” Lilliana “Thank you! You two are the best big sisters ever!”

Talia texted Drake when she and Haylee got home from cheer practice and they were safe. Talia got a text from Brayden that he, Frankie and Josh are picking up dinner since their parents are still working. Brayden said in his text that they’re picking up Jimmy John’s and wanted their orders. Talia asked the rest of her siblings what they would like for dinner from Jimmy John’s. Haylee “I would like a Turkey Tom please.” Lilliana “I want a Jimmy John’s Bacon, Lettuce, tomato and with Mayo please.” Nick “I want a Club Lulu please.” Payton “I would like a Turkey Tom too please.” Talia started texting Brayden what Haylee, Lilliana, Nick, Payton and herself want from Jimmy John’s.
