Emilia couldn't believe it when she heard Eva's confession. She even opened her mouth in shock.
"What?" she shrieked in surprise.
"This isn't the first time he's asked me to be his girlfriend. Jasper once said the same thing when he took me to the amusement park," said Eva, adding to her confession. Emilia folded her arms across her chest again. She looked even more annoyed because Jasper had acted out of line.
"Then what do you say?" Emilia said. Eva shrugged her shoulders slightly.
"I haven't answered clearly. I've only said I don't want to be in a serious relationship." Eva replied more. She lowered her head slightly, then caught her hard breath. Emilia also felt somewhat anxious. It seemed like she was burdening Eva with something unnecessary.
