Chapter 14 – Isogeny Jerry and Wolf Platoon crowded around the exercise room's monitor. He and the sergeants—Gage, Archer, and Parker—sat in front to discuss tactics. The rest of the men were told to keep the chatter to a minimum. They watched the proceedings from behind Jerry and the sergeants. If they were frustrated by not having anything to do, then they kept those feelings to themselves. Jerry suspected they were too fascinated by the whole concept of psychic warfare to let themselves feel too bored. Frankly, he was still fascinated, too. He sometimes felt like some sort of war pioneer, like the man who invented the plasma cannon or the energy shield vest.
