The car was running at its fastest speed, and my heart was also beating fast to match the car's speed. So I was just praying in my heart that we get there quickly before anything untoward happens.
"Will you please hurry up? I have to reach there as soon as possible." I shouted at the guard who was driving.
"The car is at its fastest speed, Miss," he answered.
I tried Hunter's phone, but his phone was out of reach. I tried to contact him through the mind link but could not connect with him.
I tried Isabella's phone, but she wasn't picking it up, and this made my anxiety level increase.
As soon as we reached the pack house, I quickly opened the door and got the kids to step out of the car. The guard was shouting behind me to stop, but I hadn't paid any attention to him.
