He nodded against my hair. “I would like that.” I couldn’t hold back a smile. Glancing at my watch, I blew out a sigh. “Damn. My break is over.” Daniel nodded again, tightening his arms around me briefly before letting me go. “Can I bring anything?” I shook my head. “Nope. Just you and your appetite. I like to have people over and cook for them. And I like to eat.” My cheeks turned pink. “I guess it shows, huh?” HIs blue-green eyes roamed over my body. “I think you’re beautiful,” he murmured. “I’d just like to spend time with you,” I said quickly before my bravado faded.
