Chapter 9Hoping that his choice of bar was better than the previous night, Euan escorted Gregg inside. This time, he’d picked a trendy nightclub in Austin. He didn’t like the more exclusive clubs where membership was mandatory, but this was just that little more up-market and boasted a wide age-range for its patrons. Fortunately, at this time it wasn’t too busy, there was still space at a couple of tables and booths which you passed at the front of the club, on the way to the bar itself. It was easily visible, long, gleaming, and metallic halfway down on the left. From where he stood Euan could easily make out the currently deserted dance floor at the back, given the lights weren’t yet dimmed. Not that he or Gregg would be going anywhere near that tonight.
