Chapter 4Even though Euan was now finished in regards to cooking, his work wasn’t finished. He needed to drive out to Austin. As many innovations and expansions Copper Creek had undergone through the years, the town still didn’t have a gourmet food shop or deli. Most of the food for the restaurant was delivered, but Euan liked to go to a particular deli and pick up his more specialized items in person.
His smile widened. Not that seeing Nicos again would be any hardship either. The deli owner was more than easy on the eye. Groaning softly as he stretched out his back, Euan cast another quick look at the clock. The shift was over.
“Another day, another dollar.” Justin shouted across the kitchen to Euan as he headed toward the changing rooms.
“See you tomorrow. Same time, same place.” Eua
