It took him three more days to get over his cold and return to work, but even though he’d caught up on his paperwork, there were always clients wanting to save more money on their taxes. By five o’clock, he was beyond exhausted, but he had to visit Ezra. It had been almost a week since he’d seen his lover, touched him, received his kisses. It may as well have been an eternity.
