Within days, Liam realised he’d made the right choice. His son was precious, more precious than gold or diamonds. He was a little human being with a unique personality, one who provided infinite opportunities for happiness, thus enriching Liam’s life as much, if not more, than he enriched his son’s.

Winter came, though as always in Western Australia, it was mild. The days were warm and the nights chilly. And after tucking Lucas up for the night, Liam would go to bed, snuggling under his quilt, and wonder what Ezra was doing. What was he thinking? How was he feeling?
