No Words or Talking

Chapter 15 - Present Like a beat in a song, Aaron and Giselle's hearts were pounding loudly in their chests as they shared the small space on the couch. And despite the distance between them, they could both swear they felt each other's body heat if anyone asked them then. ... A silence soon built up between them as the words they exchanged more than usual slowly faded away... Not even Edward was enough to keep the conversation between them alive. The couple had lived in denial about a truth that existed between them for so long that even if they tried to pretend it wasn't true, it would be difficult since, for the first time, they felt the emotions provoked by their bond in a way they had never felt before. Their minds tried to warn them about how dangerous this was with their rational sides. But their hearts wouldn't listen, not allowing them to move an inch from where they were, completely ignoring the thoughts they both had but could barely hear... About how they should get out of there as fast as they could when they filled their glasses once more. ... Not a word being necessary anymore as their gazes seemed to be everything they needed to talk... The she-wolf could see how the Human man watched her, and in the same way, she did with him, noticing his unusual gestures at first, before her attention to his clothes. ...Thinking about the body they were hiding under it and whether or not his skin would be soft if she touched him then... Forbidden ideas that she usually tried not to have and which soon made her want she could pour another glass of wine for herself after drinking the remaining poison in her hand at once. ...However, Giselle wasn't the only one with such thoughts that she was trying to forget, and as a joke of the Moon Goddess with their destiny, both she and Aaron touched the bottle at the same time to see if there was still having some drink in there... Allowing their fingertips to feel the shivers the other gave them, opening the lock of a banned box they kept in their hearts. Pulling their hands back, both looked confused in each other's eyes when their gazes met once more that night, and as they held their breaths, a silent agreement was made when they glanced back at the bottle. ... Still, without saying another word, they approached it again, and their fingertips touched one more time. So, in a moment of realization, Giselle planned to pull her hand back again, but she was unable to do so as Aaron didn't allow her this time, and as she felt the touch of her Mate, their fingers intertwined while her eyes remained on him. And before they could even think about what was happening, the distance between them decreased dramatically to the point that they could feel each other's breath, and neither the she-wolf nor the man could tell who had first moved to make it happen. ... They were only able to pay attention to the sound of their hearts as Elle kept blaming the Moon Goddess for it all while her eyes went to the man's lips... Breathing became difficult then as she swallowed the knot that formed in her throat before she was the one to make the first move, hoping that those emotions would go away. ... The lips tasted sweet in her mouth while a hand kept his head still behind her before Aaron pulled her close, holding her waist as he returned the kiss with everything he had... The Moon's Pull won over their last piece of rationality since, after all, it existed to ensure that Soulmates would stay together if they met at the right time on Human terms. ... So, it was all the emotions Giselle and Aaron tried to fight against, which had an even stronger effect on them due to the Winter Solstice, as the young Alpha believed... But none of that mattered anymore as Elle allowed her lips to feel those of her Mate while she remained on his lap with her knees against the couch before Aaron let go of her other hand so he could hold her body better, and hers went to his chest. And like the natural flow of a river, nothing about that felt wrong when they stopped for breath, smelling the slight scent of wine that helped them forget all rationality when their eyes opened to meet the lust present in the other person’s gaze. … One that soon brought their faces together again as if they weren't close enough already, and as their noses brushed against each other, it only seemed natural for their breaths to stop then… Until Aaron was the one to swallow the lump in his throat at that moment, letting his eyes go to the woman's lips before they went back once more to the brown orbs, and he was the one to eliminate the distance between them this time. ...Just as his lips were sweet to her, hers were intoxicating for him, like the best thing he could taste in his life when he laid her down on the couch... Hands explored each other's bodies more freely, while the sounds of moaning and gasping were the only things that filled the house until it was no longer enough. ... The Human man soon stopped to remove his shirt, even though the female underneath him didn't want to let him go... And as their chests moved fast, she watched every detail of his body without fear this time, her fingertips tempted to touch him. But a sudden shyness stopped her before he pulled her hand closer, placing it on his chest, feeling with closed eyes as the fingers trailed down his skin... At the same time, the Alpha thought he was all hers before drawing him in for another kiss, only pausing when the voice of temptation whispered against her ears. “Let’s go to my room.”
