27 Friday, 9.14am. Simon Robinson stared at the figures on the computer screen in front of him. There could be no denying it: they just didn’t add up. He’d gone over and over them, time and time again, but there was just no way this could be made to look normal. He didn’t want to query it with Brendan or Amy. That would set alarm bells ringing. He’d decided the best course of action was to go straight to his boss.
