10 Caius pointed at the roof of branches that hung over our heads. “You have your pick.” Sage shook his head. “The task is not so simple. You see, the branch must be perfectly straight. Nothing less will do for this spell.” We tilted our heads back and studied the countless branches. I winced. “How straight is straight?” “Perfectly straight.” Bee clapped her hands together. “A game of hide-and-go-seek!” We started the game, and I soon realized that nature wasn’t playing fair.
