The Cursed Ones

Chapter #14. The dangers of the Elemental wolf leader.

While the pack was scouting out the area. Valery started to walk off to check a different spot out, but just as she got out of sight of the pack someone shot a tranq dart on the scruff of her neck.

Suddenly she yelped and then fell to the ground knocked out. 

After that she was picked up and a muzzle and leash was put on just in case she woke up.

A couple hours pass by, the tranq runs out and they just arrived at the camp and Valery started waking up, as she started growling, as she realized who it was, it is the Elemental wolf leader who tried to turn her into a hybrid, but it didn’t work out to his advantage.

He then put Valery down onto the ground and held the leash, and dragged her to the reinforced cage and forced her inside and locked the cage, and made sure she couldn’t escape unless opened from the other side, as Valery kept growling wanting out of the cage, as she shifts into her half human half wolf form, as she howls loudly to show that she’s in danger as she keeps growling and she grabs the cage and starts shaking it trying to get the cage knocked down.

The cage finally falls down after a while, as Valery hits her head against the bars of the cage and she tries to squeeze her way out of the cage, as she starts to whine in pain.

*Back at the hospital*

As Ruko starts feeling pain around the neck, and his fire ignites as he makes a portal of fire around him and he disappears from the hospital, and appears in the woods near Valery, as Ruko looks around to see if anyone summoned him, as he peaks around the corner and see’s Valery in a cage at a camp, surrounded by familiar people, as he limps over to the cage near the camp, as he hurries up and makes a fire shaped key to fit the lock, and unlocks the cage and opens the door and helps Valery up.

Then Ruko hears the Elemental wolf leader say “Why,Hello Ruko nice to finally see you again, where were you? I couldn't find you at all?

Ruko then says “None of your business now go back to whatever you were doing that was keeping you distracted”

Ruko suddenly does a hand gesture telling Valery to run as fast as you can, as Ruko sets his body on fire, and limps over to the Elemental wolf leader, as fire shoots out of Ruko’s hands.

The Elemental wolf leader then covers his whole body with electricity, and shoots electricity out of his hands and blasts Ruko into a tree.

As Ruko says “Ouch and I just recovered” As Ruko gets out of the tree and it falls down to the ground, as Ruko shifts into a fire phoenix form and flies away to check on Valery to see if she’s doing okay.

*After a few minutes pass by*

Ruko lands beside Valery and shifts back to his regular form and says “Hey Valery are you okay?Are you hurt?

Valery then says “Yeah, I’m fine. I’m just a little marked up on my head from trying to escape, but I’m confused why did you help me? I thought you didn’t really like me”

Ruko then says “Where did you get that from I helped you, because I’m a nice man, also if I didn’t help you your brother would have tortured me to death”

As Valery says “What is in it for you for helping me anyways?

Ruko then says “Well, just to actually tell the full truth it’s, because when I was in the hospital something happened to my neck,I started to go through a lot of pain.

I don’t know how, but I think it has something to do with you I think somehow we are connected in a way I did here awhile back, when I was fighting in the war that there was this type of connection, so strong that whoever they were connected to the other person they would share their pain to the other person. I think it’s called the  peripetie bond. 

Now let me get you back home safe and sound before any dangers come back”

Then suddenly out of nowhere Ruko and Valery both start hearing loud howls getting closer and closer, then it suddenly stopped and then rustling through bushes started and stopped, as Valery heard a familiar voice say “Oh Valery how nice to finally see you again after, so long I see you are feeling much better, and who is this by your side?

As Ruko says “Uh Valery do you know this person who is he?

The voice from the bushes says “Hmm I see Valery you haven’t told your friend, who I was, and how I helped you get back to health, and also saving you from Ace here Valery’s friend I’m Luke, and I’m the alpha of the Los Angeles pack”

Luke and his pack came walking out from the bushes and Luke says “And who might you be kid”

Ruko chuckles and says “Kid, yeah right I’m centuries older than you and your whole pack, and by the way, I’m Ruko and why are you guys all the way in Romania?Shouldn’t you guys be in Los Angeles doing wolf stuff”

Luke then says “Exactly what are you anyways?Oh I almost forgot we are here because Valery needs to come with us she has to.Pay us back for all that we did for her”

Valery then says “I don’t owe you guys anything you tried to keep me in Los Angeles, and use me for no good, and Ruko don’t answer to them what you are.You don’t know the half of what they would do to you, and you think the Elemental wolf pack was bad, Luke’s pack is even worse”

Luke then says “That is not nice to say, now say goodbye to Ruko, but if you try to stall we will take you right away”

Valery calls out “MAX COME TO ME WE NEED YOUR HELP”

Ruko then says “Valery who are you trying to call their is no one even coming”

As Max flew down from the sky with his huge blue flaming hot wings, and landed on the ground and looked around, and then said “Oh hello Valery it seems like you have healed from that venom infection.Oh my is that Ruko? My old friend, how have you been? How are your ribs all healed?

Ruko then says “My ribs are still healing but I think I can heal myself after I get rid of the Los Angeles pack and get them out of Romania. Can you help me fight? I’m not fully healed yet and my powers are only limited right now”

Max then says “Sure I would love to help you, so you don’t hurt yourself again like you always have everytime we fought together”

Ruko then ignites his fire all over his body, as Ruko says “Valery you stay behind us it will be safer for you”

As Ruko and Max start fighting the Los Angeles pack, as Luke dodges them, runs to Valery and grabs her, and drugs her with an injection, and Luke says “Indigo open the portal to the place we discussed”

Indigo follows the order and opens the portal, as Luke takes Valery through the portal, as Indigo closes it as they go through, as the fighting suddenly stopped because Max and Ruko took them all down except for Indigo.

Ruko and Max then say “Where did that portal lead to if you tell us now we will keep you alive, but if you try to fight back you will be burned until you tell us where the portal you opened up to”

As Indigo’s wolf teeth and vampire fangs showed, and her one eye turned silver and her other eye turned a icy blue color, as she growled and said in anger “Fine! I opened a portal to Los Angeles, back to our den.Now leave me be!”

Indigo then portal’s off to where she actually portaled them, as Indigo jumps out of the portal and closes it quickly, so Ruko and Max can’t get through as Indigo sees that Valery has been locked up in the strongest type of cage there was and also chained and strapped up in the strongest material ever built it can only be unlocked if it has the blood of the person who put the chains and straps on the person.

Indigo then says “What will happen to her will she be okay?

Luke then says “Quiet Indigo don’t let your sister get in the way of your decisions, plus she doesn’t even know your her sister, and what do you think would happen if she found out she probably would try and kill you, because your a part of my pack now why don’t you be a good girl, and begin to start making dinner for us okay?Then afterwards, I will take you for a nice romantic walk through the enchanted garden”

Indigo then says “But she’s my sister she will always love me deep down! And I also want to see my older brother we were separated by birth, because I was to strong but now I’m better. I am in control I need to see my brother I promise I will keep a low profile”

Luke then says “Listen to me Indigo you're never going to see your brother they will all try to kill you”

Indigo suddenly blasts dark purple magic at Luke and knocks him out unconscious, and Indigo opens a portal to Zeke and jumps in, and then closes it and jumps back out of the portal and knocks on the front door.

Ryker answers the door and says “Hello are you lost miss?

As Indigo says “No I’m not lost I have information about where Valery is being held hostage and, also by the way can I come in”

Ryker motions his hand showing to come in.

Indigo then walks inside and looks around, and says “Do you just live here? I was hoping for someone else like Valery’s brother”

Ryker then says “Their is someone else who lives here he’s just upstairs, I’ll call him down”

As Ryker walks over to the staircase, and says “Zeke come down please someone has information about where, and who has Valery”

Zeke then comes walking down the stairs, and sees a young woman with two different eye colors that looked awfully familiar to him as Zeke says “Okay I’m here now so how do you know my sister and where is she?

Indigo then says “Because my alpha from my pack he took Valery to the Elemental wolves hideout and right, now Valery has been chained and strapped up with a unbreakable material and the only way to break her out is only with the blood of my alpha I don’t want Valery to get hurt she is my...nvm”

As Ryker and Zeke say “She’s your what”

Indigo then says “Do you promise not to hurt me”

Zeke then walks up to Indigo and says “We promise we won’t harm you”

As Indigo sees Max and Ruko come in, as she suddenly activates her invisibility so they won’t see her,then she runs upstairs quietly and hides in the nearest bedroom and stays quiet.

Zeke then says “Ruko aren’t you supposed to be in the hospital and who is this you brought with you”

Ruko then says “This is Max he’s a very old buddy of mine he is a guardian angel and he protected Valery for a little while in Los Angeles, but right now we are looking for a female, that has a silver eye and a icy blue eye we figured she came here”

Zeke then says “Their was a young woman that described her, but I don’t know where she went she was telling me, and Ryker about where Valery was taken”

As Ruko catches her scent and follows it up the stairs and walks into Valery’s room and tracks it to the corner of her room as Ruko grabs a hold of Indigo, and Indigo’s invisibility wore off as she screamed so loud her banshee screech activated, and it blows Ruko out the window as Zeke, Ryker and Max come running up to Valery’s room as Indigo says “Please don’t hurt me I was only protecting myself I never meant to hurt Ruko, but he was going to kill me, and so is Max and I don’t want to be killed I’m Zeke and Valery’s little sister”

Zeke then says “But Valery is my only sister I ever had”

Indigo then says “I am your little sister it’s just your memories of me got erased, from your memories, and I was forced to move to Los Angeles Max should know all about it, he was originally my guardian angel, but then he betrayed me and the very last thing I heard him say before he betrayed me was, you will never see your brother and sister ever again or I will hunt you down and kill you myself.Just  Please don’t kill me I betrayed my alpha when he said not to come here, but I blasted him with my power I’m the strongest of my pack, but now Max and Ruko killed my whole pack and left me alive, because my alpha forced me to open a portal up to the Elemental wolves hideout, but if I told them the actual place they were going to kill me, because I would be no use to them anymore and before they could kill me I portaled away”

Ruko then flies in through the window and grabs Indigo by the throat and squeezes her throat, as Indigo’s purple magic came out of her hands, and circled around Ruko making his legs, and arms paralyzed for a certain amount of time, as Indigo wheezes trying to catch her breath back, as Max comes at her with his flaming blue wings. 

As Indigo makes Max feel like his whole body is numb even his wings as Indigo raises up her hand to Zeke’s forehead and returns the memory of there mother naming them and in that memory Zeke saying when he was a little boy “Can I hold her what’s her name?

Their mother then says “Her name is Indigo and yes you can hold her, and then Valery will hold her”

Zeke and Indigo then come back out of Zeke’s memory, as Zeke starts to tear up as he hugs Indigo and says “I’m so sorry I should have known it was you, does Valery know?

Indigo then says “No my alpha drugged her so she wouldn’t fight back at him”

Zeke then says “Wait a minute.What supernatural creature are you even supposed to be?

Indigo then answers back and says “I’m vampire, wolf, banshee, witch, elemental and demon that I know of anyways but when I was born I was extremely cursed I only have a sliver of humanity, but some of my powers have kept me safe over the years I never went to a school because I was so uncontrolled. Sure I signed up for it and I did attend school, but then a bully came and was bullying me so hard in my class he was making me bleed. 

So I accidentally killed everyone in my class and I regret that day and every time I get so angry when people make fun of me and make me bleed that very first day of school it makes me relive that day over and over again, it kills me to think that I was ever like that”

As Zeke says “It’s okay we all have made mistakes at one point of our lives, but life goes on and you have to push the past behind you”

Ryker then says “I’m so confused right now?I have no clue on what’s even going on can someone tell me”

Zeke then says “Ryker this is Indigo she is my sister as well”

Indigo then says “Hmm Ryker I have heard so much about you, my alpha has had eyes on you ever since he knew you were Valery’s alpha.

Also my condolences on your old pack just to let you know those were feral wolves that attacked your pack and the reason they didn’t kill you was, because they planned a trap for Valery they only wanted her”

As Ryker’s eyes glow red and slams Indigo up against the wall and pins her body to the wall, and Ryker says “HOW DO YOU KNOW about my old pack did you send those wolves after my pack”

Indigo then says “No I just heard about an attack in Romania being planned, but I couldn’t help. I was trapped in a cage that was magic proof I was released when the attack was done.

But when I heard that Valery was in Los Angeles I was ecstatic, and when she entered in my packs den, I really wanted to say that I was her little sister, but I wasn’t allowed especially with Ace in my packs den he knew he wasn’t allowed in, but he had Valery with him and she was incredibly weak.

So my alpha helped her, but when he put Valery in his room she escaped when she heard my alpha talk about using Valery for no good, but then when my alpha went back into his room Valery was gone.

So he sent the pack after Valery so we tracked her down to Jay’s place”

Ryker then says “I don’t care about your little story just show me where Valery is or, so help me god I will rip you to shreds”

Indigo then says “Don’t you dare talk to me like that.

After I was so nice to you you're just lucky that.

I’m not making you feel paralyzed or numb all over the body like Max and Ruko, so be a little bit nicer to me and you won’t have to feel anything like that, so show me a bit of respect”

Zeke then says “Yeah, Ryker you should be nice to Indigo since she is my sister after all and she has been through a lot like keeping a secret from me and Valery for years because she was threatened, so Indigo will you please take us to where Valery is being held captive”
