Hazel’s POV
“You really want to go to your parents, huh? Then listen to me, Hazel. You’re an orphan and they are not your real parents!” he blurted out, gritted his teeth at me.
I stopped struggling for a moment and looked into his eyes. His eyes were filled with anger and his nostrils flared in rage, as his breathing accelerated rapidly.
“What did you say?” I asked to confirm, hoping I misheard.
“Yes, they adopted you and that too, not in a legal way!” he spat the venom of truth at me like a real beast. I clenched my teeth and pushed him away with all my might.
