An Encounter

Kaya's POV

I was making my way towards the lake that Mia told me about, the rest of Gunther's friends including him is setting the tents I was amazed on how Gunther can set up our camp swiftly, he can be reliable sometimes.

I smiled to my self. It's so peaceful, the water is calm and I fought the urge to just dive in.

I sat on a big tree root and stare at the water its not as blue as the ocean can be but it can reflect the skies beautifully.

I don't remember how long have I been staring but I can hear Mia shouting on the top of her lungs, something about a bug that crawled up her leg.

I laughed. I continue my moment of staring at the water and suddenly a dark silhouette appears in the distance, before I went to this town I was warned that this will happen from time to time.

I prepared my self on what was coming and it seems that the person gets it, and it walks slowly towards me and I almost dropped to my knees. Gideon...

GUNTHER'S POV

After I set up everything I noticed that kaya is nowhere to be found I asked Mia and I was told that she went for a walk near the lake, I left out a sigh. Ever since I met her I had this anxiety about her leaving or disappearing I think I'm more attached to her now that if she will leave I will loose myself, I hate people leaving. They wouldn't know how much it hurts to be left behind. Jordan picked up some pinewood and lit a fire, "dumbass, it's still early for a campfire" I sneered, "well my balls are freezing so give me a break" he replies. I threw my hands in the air " my bad". I helped Chuck and Mia setting up their individual tents and unload our supplies from my truck. I haven't notice how time flies until I saw the time on my phone. I went to look for Kaya, I think I'm lost since I kinda think that I'm just going in circles. Finally I saw the light coming out of the lake, after a while I saw Kaya I was about to call her but then I noticed that she was talking to someone. It was a tall man with a lot of tattoos on his chest his eyes is the bluest I ever seen and he was so tall maybe a couple inches taller than me. I think they're both lost on their conversation that they hasn't notice me arrive. "we need you to decide or you'll need to come home..." says the guy with the weird tattoos, "this is my home and I need to protect him. You need to go Gideon I don't want him to be angry at you" says kaya. She looked over her shoulder and she finally saw me, she was shocked and I wanted to explain why I'm eavesdropping but she dragged me back to the forrest, "remember Ms. Mikael we're looking forward to your decision" Says Gideon. "Your answer is everything..." he continues. I can see the anger in Kaya's face I looked back and the guy already disappeared.
