CHAPTER 11 “You don’t carry any maps, Lepicher?” Penrys was her landlord’s first customer that morning and got her full attention. “Nah, too expensive, and most of ’em go to the Collegium. Now, I’ve heard there’re a couple of collectors down in Stokemmi, and some shops that specialize in ’em, but you won’t find much of that here.” She eyed Penrys’s blue robes. “You could cross the bridge and ask them over there.” The exasperated nod of her head to the bridge across the square from her window made it clear she thought Penrys was asking in the wrong place and wasting her time. “No, I can’t.” She left it at that, but Lepicher’s face took on a more considering expression. “Well, in that case, you might try Gylvabil. He carries a lot of books on local topics, and I know sometimes he’s ha
