“What are you doing?” I asked Ariana to get her attention.
I don’t know why I felt like grumbling all morning. But Ariana kept ignoring me. She was busy with her laptop.
“Just studying some things I need for work,” she answered nonchalantly without looking away from her laptop.
Initially, I wanted to exercise at home. So, I practised boxing with a punching bag. When I saw Ariana busy, I became curious and approached her. It was unusual for her to bring work home.
I paced back and forth in front of her. What made her so focused was that she ignored me. Who was near her?
Suddenly, Ariana muttered to herself. “So Cassian Dwain is great too, huh? What kind of person is he?”
