I want divorce

1112 Words
Eva was sitting in her childhood room, looking outside the window. The sun was shining, and birds were chirping. Everything seemed so pleasant, but her heart was gloomy. She never thought about having this kind of life. She loved only one man her entire life. Now the thought of leaving him scared her. Her old life was, in fact, her name Eva Tylor. Everything was related to him. How would she be able to forget him? Beads of sweat on her forehead came with this thought. But she had made up her mind and now backed off from that. So, making her mind up, she stood up and went to her parents. "Dad, I want to file a divorce. Please help me find a good lawyer and prepare the divorce papers." Eva said with confidence, but inside she was scared. What if her father rejected her idea of divorce? " Eva, have you really made up your mind? Are you sure you won't regret doing this?" her father asked. He was concerned about her future. But now, he came to know that his daughter's marriage was not a happy marriage, and his daughter was living in this hell because of him. So he wanted to support her. " Dad, I've made my decision. I don't want to live a pitiful life, " Eva's voice was gloomy. She said this with a heavy heart. "Okay, dear! As you wish. Always remember your mother and I will always be by your side, no matter your decision. You have suffered enough. Now we want you to be happy. " Hearing her father supporting her, her face lit up. She knew her parents wouldn't leave her. She was happy that she had her parents to rely on in this world. She and her son wouldn't be alone. " Thanks, dad! " She felt grateful that her parents trusted her and took her side. -----------. ----------. -----------. Ethan was restless, wandering in his room. Cupboards at Eva's side were empty. All her stuff was gone... His room was empty... His house was lonely... .......His life was lonely... His heart felt empty too... This feeling was so strange. He was confused. He didn't understand why he was feeling so restless. Nothing in this world had ever made him feel sad. Ethan Tylor was the country's most successful and wealthy man. He had everything. Money. Power. Servants were there at his beck and call. In the office, he was surrounded by people. Women were ready to throw themselves at him. He was getting attention everywhere. But still, he was lonely without Eva by his side. He was missing his family. He realized he didn't find any other girl more attractive than his wife. Many girls tried to seduce him, but he chased them away as he found them ugly. He found relief and satisfaction only in Eva's arms. He recalled steamy nights spent with Eva and how she felt under him when he was deeply buried inside her. His body started to react just to that thought, and he was hard in an instant. His eyes went to the side table where his family photo with Eva and Grayson was kept. He recalled Greyson begging for his attention and crying to play with him. His sweet innocent voice called him 'dad'. When he was tired and stressed, coming back and seeing Eva and Grayson's faces made him relaxed and happy. He picked up that photo frame in his hand. After staring at the photo for a long time, he decided something in his mind. He thought about correcting his mistakes. He wanted them back. He wanted them back in his house... In his life... ----------. -----------. --------- Ethan ordered Trevon to get his car ready. He was going to see Eva at her parent's house. She was not responding to his calls or texts. When he called her parent's number, she refused to talk. Ethan was angry and ... confused. Why was she acting like this when she was very obedient to him in the past? He needed to find an answer. Damn, she had to talk to him. He didn't understand what was wrong between them. He was soon going to find that out. ----------. -----------. ----------- Ethan was waiting for Eva to come to the living room at Eva's parents' place. It's been half an hour. She was still refusing to see him. He was now fuming in anger. He was not used to this obedience act of his wife. Her father came with a lawyer. He handed over some papers. " What's this?" Ethan confusingly asked. Looking through the papers, his eyebrows shot up to meet his hairline. " Divorce paper? What kind of joke is this? " he was fuming in anger, calm but calm, his voice calm because he didn't want to disrespect Eva's father. Eva's father said coldly, "Eva wants a divorce. She won't come back with you. You better sign the paper and end this marriage. " Her father had seen her in pain. He was fed up with seeing his daughter crying. Now he wanted his daughter's happier version back. For this, he was willing to do anything. Ethan remained standing there, shocked, with the papers in his hand. " I don't give a damn about this. I'll never sign these papers." Ethan's voice was cold enough to give shivers. " Look, son, don't stretch......" Eva's father started to say, but ..... " You have to sign, Ethan. I want a divorce. " Eva's voice cut in. Ethan looked up in the direction of the sound to find Eva standing at the top of the stairs. Looking down at him, she was slowly descending towards them. Ethan forgot to blink. He saw her after so many days, which was like a tonic for his eyes. His lips curled slightly. His smile was so warm that it melted Eva's heart. But she composed herself. He stood there staring at her unblinkingly. Eva thought her heart missed a heartbeat seeing his charming smile. 'Get a grip, girl ' Eva slapped herself in her mind. He still affected her like that. " How are you, sweetheart? " Ethan's voice had become soft as Eva was now standing in front of him. Eva blushed to hear the endearment. She was not used to hearing anything sweet from his mouth. She straightened herself. " What do you want, Ethan? Please sign the papers, and let's finish this all." Hearing this from Eva's mouth, Ethan's anger surfaced again. " I'll never sign these divorce papers. So pack your stuff, Eva, and come with me. " He roared.
