“Summon him,” I demanded Calico. He pressed his branded shoulder and I felt the burn come through mine.
We waited a few minutes before a knock came to the door. Arek looked anxious as he entered and looked over at Calico who sneered at him. I held in a sigh at his hostility as usual.
“Let’s get this done,” I said picking up the goblet of an herbal potion and handed it to Arek. “Drink this while I say the incantation then shift to make sure it works.”
“You want me to shift here?” He said with confusion, holding the goblet.
“That’s what he said,” Calico snapped. “Are you deaf Ginger wolf?”
“Can you refrain from calling him that,” I snapped. “Before you drink that I need to add the hair that is the color you will be.”
