Luke I didn’t want to make Ophelia uncomfortable by suggesting we sleep in the same bed, even though the desire to be that close to her was unbearable. We could explore that part of the bond when she was more comfortable being in a house full of wolves. She tried to argue with me about sleeping on the couch; insisting I sleep in my room since she’s a guest. I think she was unsure about being alone with each other in bed too. I kissed her nose and insisted she sleep there and I’d see her in the morning. “Sweet dreams, sir,” she whispered in my ear and my wolf rumbled inside me. “I love it when you say that,” I moaned and kissed her lips. “Okay, little dove, you need to sleep. I’ll see you in the morning.” “Okay,” she sighed. “I’m sorry I’m not ready yet.” “Ready for what?” I asked.
