Carter's p.o.v

I am searching new cities and neighborhoods I haven't been able to search for her in. My friend from the police station calls me telling me there's new missing girls and girls who have been found so I hurry over there to look at the pictures. You never know when it can be Lexi. I park and get off. My buddy is already there waiting for me. We head inside and after looking at everything and realize none are her. He tells me he will contact me if more girls are found and then says he is going to take his lunch break and he takes off in his police car. I get on my bike as another police car is pulling in. I salute the officer and take off. Looks like they have their hands full. They had someone in the back. I stop by to grab a coffee because it looks like it is going to be a long night.

Alexis p.o.v

They bring me in and keep me here for hours. They haven't even came to tell me anything, but I know you are usually allowed a phone call. I decide that I will call Jonny if they let me make that phone call. I wonder if I can complain about the cops who came to my house. I know they knew that Soencer is wealthy and that is why I was arrested and not him. A male officer comes and says I have a visitor. I sigh knowing exactly who it is. "Alexis, I will forgive you for being crazy and get you out of here if you don't leave me. I need you baby" he tells me. I am disguted. "Spencer, no. I do not want to be with you." I tell him. "Alexis, you are poor. You should be thankful to be with a man like me. I can change your whole life. You need a lot of polishing, but I can fix you. You belong to me, I just need to hear you say it." he says. "Fùck you!" I tell him and turn around so he knows that this conversation is over. "Suit yourself, stay here until I decide then." he says. Panic starts to fill me, but I won't show him any weakness. He walks away laughing. I sit on the floor and scoot my legs up and lay my head there. I eventually doze off.

I wake up to a woman opening the cell door. "Alexis Younger" she says and I nod. "You can make a phone call." she says loudly then whispers "Look I know that you were wrongfully arrested and accused dear. I am going to help you. These men do not want to let you go because they got paid off, but if you get someone to come pick you up right now, then I will tell them I will report them and you can go and I will make sure noone contacts that aśśhole who was here earlier, until you are long gone. I hate men who think they can treat women beneaththem and talk tocus however thry want. They flash a little money and think everyone will do whatever they want. Well not me." she says. I nod "Okay, thank you. " I say and go call my brother.

Alpha Damian's p.o.v

Gabriella just returned from her time learning about art. She was always good with her hands. When we were little mom taught her to garden, paint, fix things and she grew up and continued to do these things. She came home with two beautiful paintings. One thing is for sure she has a great eye for artwork. "Wow Gabby, these are amazing." I tell her as I help her unload her things. "aren't they, my bestfriend Lexi made them for me as a goodbye gift." she says. Her face lights up when she speaks about Lexi. It isn't the first time I have heard her speak about this Lexi girl. Whoever she is I wish I could thank her for being Gabby's friend. People always thought my little sister was weird and she didn't have any friends because of it. She was always getting bullied because she'd rather play with dirt or paint than fight or play with other kids. She was always fine on her own. This Lexi helped get her out of her shell and made her more confident. A human. ha I think to myself. Who would have known. "Well this painting is amazing Gabby, you have to let me put it in my office and this one can go in the game room." she nods. "Really D, you would put my best friend's artwork on display?" she asks. "Yes, she's just as talented as you. Plus they smell good." I say She sniffs them and shrugs. I call my Beta and most trusted man here Jonathan, Jonny for short to go get that set up. I met Jonny about 2 years ago. He and his mother along with some other families came here. They were living in some pretty crappy conditions. Sonia is a half witch and she helped families who were wolves and didn't have anywhere to live. They all stayed together. Most of the kids were around the same age and when they started turning 18, they thought to join a pack, so they came here. People say that I am the most ruthless Alpha they have heard about or met. I don't take s**t from no-one. I run my pack a certain way and it works for us. Jonny and I hit it off when he came here. He worked hard. I noticed right away that he is a beast. He climbed his way up the ranks. Our old Beta doesn't have a family or an heir so he agreed for the title to be passed to Jonny. He was the most fit for the position and he is the most loyal. We are having a dinner to welcome my sister back. I invited a couple of guests, one of them Luna Grace from our neighboring pack. Her mate and Alpha passed away some years ago. She is older. I am 24 and she is 48, but she doesn't look that old. I mean she does look older than me, but werewolves age slower so she doesn't look too old. Well we have treaties and businesses together and we also have a sèxual relationship. I was young when she offered herself to me and she also offered to teach me everything I needed to know, both for the pack and in bed. She claimed she was lonely and hòrny and well I was young and dumb. My wolf Luke hates her. He claims that she has motives for doing this and he wishes I would just stop fùcking her and wait for our mate, but we are 24 and we haven't found her. Maybe she is dead or we just don't have one. We have a mate. Luke says. I hope so buddy. I really do. Every wolf thinks about having that perfect person to complete them. Hundreds of years ago, a witch was mated to a pack member and she enchanted a huge rock and made it a huge thing here. Pack members even stand around it and pray for me to find my mate. It is ridiculous, but deep inside me I hope someone is listening to their prayers. They say that the witch was tired of watching the Alpha be sad because he couldn't find his mate, so she put magic in the rock and from that day on every pack member felt it when their Luna and Alpha's mate stepped foot on their land. As long as she steps foot in the territory, the pack members will know it. I remember dad talked about when they all felt it when mom first came here. He said it's so strong that he felt like he would cry. "You just feel it in your bones." he said. I honestly can't wait for that to happen. I just hope if I ever find my mate that she accepts me with all of my flaws. and mommy issues my wolf laughs at me. "Shut up I do not have mommy issues." I snap at him. Well explain fùcking that grandma then. Keep you dìck out of her stinky hole. he says. "Atleast I always wrap it up." I tell him. I won't risk getting anyone but my mate pregnant. I also decided a long time ago not to have sèx with anyone from my pack. I do not want my Luna and mate to have any reason to feel uncomfortable in her own pack when that time comes. That's also why I have sèx with Grace. It is just easier. I also do not take any woman to my bed. Again saving that for my mate only. At dinner I excuse myself to go to the restroom. When I come out I find Sonia standing in the hallway looking at her phone. "You okay?" I ask her. "Oh Alpha, I just just listening to my daughter's voicemail." she says. I could hear the sweetest voice. "I miss you so much it hurts" she says Luke stirs and wants to hear more. Sonia wipes her tears away. "Sorry Alpha. I haven't seen Alexis in 2 years and I miss my daughter." she says. "Why don't you invite her here to visit?" I ask her. She laughs and wipes the tears from her eyes. "Oh no, my Alexis is an artist. She is like a bird who loves flying and exploring. I do not know if pack life is for her. Well I do not know because when she was left to me I had to cloak her to keep her safe and she left home before she turned 18 and since I haven't seen her since then, I haven't been able to remove it and let her wolf out. That is my wild child." she says. "Well she sounds like alot of fun. Invite her. You never know, maybe she will love it here" I say and Luke shakes his head agreeing. What is up with him. That night I ended up in bed with Grace, with a mad wolf and to be honest I was angry at myself. This no longer felt right or good. I was inside of her and went soft. "Sorry" I said when I pulled out. She looked horrified. "Let me sùck it Damien, I will get it back up" she said reaching for me, but I pushed her away. "I have to go." I say and rush out of there. "That was the last time" I promise my wolf who sighs in relief and plays that voice in my head again. "I miss you so much it hurts." such a sweet voice. I get home shower and fell asleep with that voice on repeat in my head.

Now I am in my office with my Beta Jonny and my Gamma Andrew and his mate Lizzy who are telling me about the event we have to attend in a couple of weeks. I think about last night, the rock, my parents who are dead, but I miss dearly and that sweet voice. I can't get it out of my damn head. "You will be receiving an award. Our pack is up there with the big dogs, congrats." Andrew says and I smile with so much pride. "We work hard and deserve it" I tell him. I have Jonny signing papers for me when his phone rings. He looks at it and smiles. He puts it on speaker phone and continues to sign "Hey Ugly" he says. "Jonathan" I hear the same voice from last night. "Alexis, what's wrong" he asks, My wolf and I are on alert. "I need your help" I hear her cry and my heart squeezes painfully hearing her. "Alexis, tell me what happened" he says growing frustrated. "You remember Spencer?" she asks. My wolf starts pacing. "Yeah, that aśśhole you are dating." He says and Luke growls in my head. "Was dating. It's a long story, but I kicked his aśś and I got arrested. I need you to come get me at the police station." she says. "Arrested Alexis, what the fùck." he hisses. "He cheated on me and he came here and hit me Jonny. I was defending myself, but since he's rich the cops arrested me. Please I can't call mom. I don't have anyone else Jonny." she begs him. I stand up about to go get her my damn self. He looks at me with wide eyes. He takes the phone off speaker phone. "Sorry Alpha, I forgot where I was. I am going to be gone for a bit" he says and I nod. He probably thinks that I am annoyed by his call, but no, I want him to go get her. He talks to her some more when my office door slams open and Grace walks in. Jonny rolls his eyes. He hates her just as much as my wolf does. He thinks I should wait for my mate too. He thinks it's gross that I fùck someone that can be my mother. He says Grace is bad for business and that she is infatuated with me and going to end up giving me problems, but I have always told her it was just sèx and pack business and nothing more. "Damien honey, are you feeling better?" she asks and walks around and sits on my lap. Jonny gags and starts to walk out. I stand up so Grace can get off me. "Jon, you good? You going to get her?" I ask, walking towards him and he nods. "Can I get the day off?" he asks and I nod. "Bring her here." I tell him and he smiles. "Thanks Alpha. I don't know why everything thinks you are the worst Alpha, you are the biggest softie" he jokes. "Leave the door open" I link him and he walks out. "No sèxy time with grandma?" he asks. "Nah I'm done with her. I'm Going to take your advice and wait for my mate" I say and he snorts. "good luck with the crazy stalker grandma. I doubt she will leave you alone" he says and I shut the link. "Excuse us, lets go pick up the delinquent" Andrew tells Jonny as he and Lizzy follow him out. "What are you doing here Grace? We do not have any meetings today" I say. She opens the long coat that I didn't even realize she was wearing. I look at her and my dìck doesn't even wake up. "Grace, look. I was thinking and I think I am done with this agreement that we had." I tell her. "Close your coat, the door is open" I say. "What do you mean? I do not understand. Is there someone else?" she asks. "I am just not feeling it anymore, Grace. I am going to chill and wait for my mate okay, now I have things to attend to, so if you would please excuse me", I say and gesture with my hand to the door so she can get her aśś out of my chair and office. "Damian honey, I will let you think about this. This is something good we have going on. I will come back tomorrow okay." she says. I shake my head, but she kisses my cheek and walks out. I sigh It seems like Jonny is right. She is going to be hard to get rid of, but unless she wants shìt to go bad with our packs and allies she will back off and leave me the hell alone. I am not called the ruthless Alpha for nothing.
