Heading out of the neighborhood she stopped at Bar 7 and prayed they would let her have a drink and some quiet time before opening. She wandered inside and heard a voice call from behind the bar.
“We are still closed. We don’t open for a few hours.”
Katt came into view and smiled seeing Sanders. She was hoping he would remember her face at the very least.
“Oh! Le’Ann’s sister isn’t it?”
“Yeah close enough. Best friends. I know you aren’t open but I really need a drink and some quiet. Think you could accommodate?”
“Not really my policy, but sure, you do look like you need it. Besides if we don’t get this tap fixed, tonight is going to be a bust. The whole thing just stopped working and I don’t know why.”
