They had to go back from where they had found it and to say that it would take more time than a single night was kind of making them feel uncertainties, especially that anytime soon, the creatures might get out and they would go all over the place again and would make things harder than now that they felt they were free. They were basically running since they knew the dire need of reaching the cave where the diamonds were without being chased by the other creatures, not even the bear that was living there. They seemed like they had already reached the middle of the island on their way to the cave, they were not minding the cold breeze, the loud and strong rain, and the slippery ground.
