The Day of Presentation

Neomi POV 

As I and Alaska sat with Noah, in his car, Alaska filled me in on what happened last night, what Marcus tried to do, what she did after seeing him, and how the cops were about to bust us and Noah and Colton rescued us from there. 

I can recall some parts of it but it feels like I am missing a big and important part of the night, I can feel that something important happened yesterday especially at midnight, I am trying to remember but I can’t, so I decide to drop thinking about it. 

Noah is still staring at Alaska and grinning, and I want him to look at the road in front of us more but it seems like he could do both the things together. 

I can also feel Alaska is little red, and blushing which I haven’t seen her do at all but again she told me she was interested in Noah. They both do look cute together and it feels like I could trust Noah.

Apparently Noah dropped us at Alaska’s house but his car is still not moving, I roll my eyes and decide to go inside and get ready for school. 

I am more nervous now since we have to present today and Alaska promised that I will only be handling slides and she would present, still being in front of so many people scare me. 

I could hear the car breaks and speeding noise coming from outside and I wonder what happened. 

Alaska enters the house and now she looks completely show confusion, "I don’t know what happened, we were about to talk but then he seems spaced out for a moment and then he took off." 

I can feel disappointment in her voice and I feel sorry for her, She is having those feelings for the first time, As long as I remember she has never noticed any guy neither talk to one. 

Clearing our mind off guys, one of whom totally ignored my presence in the morning and the other who disappointed my friend, we go over our presentation for the class. Alaska advises me to remember the important points,  just in case. 

We both get dressed and leave for the school, but I can feel that something bad is going to happen soon….
