Chapter Twenty six: Assaulting a Lady.

Mia read the information that the system had showed to her, right above her eye.
She proceeded on hunting for beasts. She went towards a hole dug by the beasts as their shelter and protective hideout.
The hole was large and at the same time, it is deep into the ground. She's planning to draw out the beast out of the hole so she went to the river to fetch some waters. After fetching water from the river into a water bottle, she poured the contents inside the hole and slowly, some of the creatures started coming out in one and twos.
Mia brought out her sword as she started slaying the beasts one by one with her sword. But when she discovered that the beast are no more coming again, she went to the river to fetch more water.
She poured the water inside the hole but none of the beast came outside. Then she got an idea of drawing the beasts out by using fire.
She lit a fire and hurriedly drop it inside the hole. Surprisingly, beasts of great sizes and in great quantities started jumping out of the hole. The beasts have curve and sharp claws, with their teeth like a sharp knife. The colour of the beasts varies in red, green and brown colour, but their special power is to create ice. They dig holes and their ice attributes are used to make the wall stand erectly.
After they all began to come out, Mia started killing them with her swords, and by the time she finish killing all of the beasts, she proceeded on extracting the beast crystals that are located at the chest region of the beast. Not all beast has their crystal located at the chest region, because some have theirs at their feet, head, neck and at different part of their bodies.
The crystal could be said to be the power cell of their body system. They are originated from the crystals and without the crystals, they can't live. It's in comparison to the humans heart. Humans can't live without a heart because it is an important item in the body system.
Mia wondered why it hadn't given her rewards for the fifty two beast that she killed. At least, she should receive about one hundred and twenty five Exp rewards, but it seems like the system only rewards what it chooses. About the ice attribute, she don't know how it works, so she didn't think much about it.
"Well, the 50 Exp bonus is something." Mia said before hearing a lady screaming out for help. Mia went towards the direction where she had heard the voice and luckily, she saw the lady. But, the lady was surrounded by three men who are just about to slay her neck with the sword.
If she jump in suddenly, they might kill the lady in an instant, so she had to think of something good she could do to save the lady.
Mia ran into the midst of the three men and she had the lady beside her, protecting her from getting hit.
"Who are you?" One of the men asked.
"You don't need to know." Mia answered.
"Do you want to die!" The man shouted at her.
"What did she did wrong?" Mia asked.
"Why? Will you report it to your friends if you know, or you will tell the Queen about it." The man replied.
All his thought was that, Mia was from their kingdom and had came across them while hunting some beasts.
Mia knew that these guys won't allow them to go scot-free, not when she already saw what they were doing in secret. She didn't know what is happening between the men and the lady but she knew through the conversation with one of the man that they are the bad ones. She would just ask the lady about the details later, so she planned to save her first before getting into a fight with the men.
"Follow my instructions if you want to get out of here alive." Mia said to the lady and she instantly agreed with her. "Okay now, we will run on the count of three. One!"
Without waiting for the count of two and three, both ladies had started running, trying to escape from the three men.
The three men started chasing after them but there was a great lap between them.
Mia got to a rocky hill and told the lady to hide there till she comes back. She would teach these guys a lesson they would never forget.
She appeared in front of the men with two shortswords in her hands.
"Come on guys." Mia called for their attention and they all made way towards them.
"Wow, I can't believe that." Mia said excitedly and the men were confused by her words, they were just in a few metres away from where she is and they weren't able to see what Mia is seeing, so they were clueless on what she had said earlier.
The men drew their swords and one of them went in to attack Mia. They had thought that since Mia was a lady, only one of them should be able to defeat her, but that is a very terrible mistake. Mia is so skillful when it comes to sword, she could display every existing sword skill you know and the ones you never thought existed.
In two to three minutes, the first man had been defeated and Mia just gave him a wound on his two arms and feet. To prevent him from running and from holding his sword.
The second guy had also charged in at Mia and the same thing that was done to the first guy was also done to the second one. They were both groaning in pain.
The third guy who happened to be the boss of the two men, and also, the one who had been talking to Mia since, was him.
"What do I do with you?" Mia said as she notice that the man was about to run away. Seeing his men getting defeated by a lady without much stress from her side was amazing and he was thinking if he could even beat this lady. So he resulted in escaping but before he could run further, Mia stretched her hands towards the man.
Mia didn't feel like killing these guys, at least, not until she knew why they want to kill the lady in the forest.
"Ice freeze!" Mia shouted and the man freezed just at where he was.
