Chapter Thirteen: The Black dragon's challenge.

"Sen, an human is challenging us to a fight. I heard his name is Arthur. He said he wants to fight us one on one." Bluey, the blue dragon said, informing the red dragon, Sen.
"That's the most incredible joke I've ever heard." Sinh, the yellow dragon said. "What? A mere human to us. That's suicide." she started laughing.
"I don't think what's on ground is funny at all." The seer said as she entered the cave. "You need to act fast before he acts, I can see deaths in the future if you delay any further."
"What do you think, Sen?" Fein, the green dragon asked feeling uneasy about the matter.
"No one says a thing about this matter! If anyone is going to die, it's not us. I don't care who he is or what he wants, I am not accepting his challenge and if he wish, he could act as he wish." Sen said angrily as he flew into another part of the cave.
"Sen is not helping. What should we do next?" Bluey asked the seer.
"I actually don't know. Let me seek for some heavenly counsel." The seer said.
"Okay, you do that." Sinh said. "Hope it won't be too long?"
"It will, because I'm short of beast crystal." The seer said.
"Don't worry, we'll leave for the forest now." Bluey said and they all went outside the cave.
White angel wings emerged from the seer's back as she flew with the three dragons out of the cave.
As they were flying across the forest; it was noon, so they could still see everything bright and clear. Humans know about their existence, so there's no reason to travel at night.
While flying in the middle of the forest, Sinh could see with her dragon eyes that some beasts were circling a green aura, signifying the aura of an human being, while the aura of a beast is yellow. Sinh called for the attention of others and they flew towards the area.
On getting there, they saw about a dozen of Harpy surrounding a baby who was asleep in a basket. And just in a few metres away from the baby, was the baby's mother, whose arm and feet are being eaten by wolves.
Bluey gave out a loud roar to scare them off just to save the baby and at least, parts of the mother.
The Harpy flew away as soon as the dragon roar, but the wolves were reluctant to move, so, Fein freeze them with his ice, they were three in total. He would have used his fire skill, but to not set the body of the baby's mother on fire, he used his ice freeze skill instead, freezing the wolves.
The seer carried the baby to protect him from any more harm. But, it didn't take long, that a whole army of harpies surrounded the area, ready to fight with the dragons.
"These beasts don't have manners, especially these harpies." Sinh said.
"I'll take care of it, I need their bodies, you can have their crystals." Bluey said.
"Do you gain anything in eating their smelly bodies. Their crystals are more better."
"You may like crystals but I'm not a Crystarian." Bluey said.
"Opps Sorry." Sinh said jokingly.
Bluey went closer to the multitudes of Harpy and used his fire stream skill to kill all the harpies at once. He made sure to lower the flame of his fire, so he would be able to eat the flesh of the harpies without getting it burnt into crisp.
"Dinner is ready." Bluey said as he perceived the smell of the roasted Harpy and started eating it.
While doing this, a very big Harpy appeared before them, it was an horned Harpy. But before it could move any further, the seer had killed it with her magic and the crystal floated towards her.
The baby in the seer's hand woke up and started crying. And they had no choice but to take him to her used to be mother.
"What do we do now? The baby is crying and his mother is,... you know." Sinh said.
"There's nothing we could do. Let's take him to the village and someone may take care of him." Bluey said as he handed the crystals of the harpies to Sinh.
"No, those humans will think we killed the baby's mother. And we can't just leave this poor child alone to suffer in the hands of stranger. Let's think of some other ways." Fein said.
"There are no other ways." Bluey said.
"Perhaps, there is one thing I could still do." The seer said.
"What is it?" The three dragons asked at once.
"This." The seer said as she raised the crystal that she got from the horned Harpy beast. "This can only revive her mind but she would be part human and part beast."
"But, isn't that the King tier beast crystal, that you want to use." Sinh asked.
"We should just save a life first, shouldn't we?" Bluey said and they all agreed with him.
The Seer went closer to where the baby's mother is and drew a magic circle on the floor, surrounding her.
After drawing it, she placed the king tier crystal on her bare chest and casted some spells on her.
Immediately, the disabled arms and legs were being replaced by beasts arms and legs.
"At least that will do. We could do something about the appearance later." The seer said and the lady started waking up.
When she woke up, there was one thing that first came out her mouth. "I am dead." the lady said.
"Luckily, you're alive." The seer said as she handed over her baby to her.
"My son!" She wept as she carried him in his hands, but then, she felt something strange.
Her arms are different, she couldn't carry her baby properly.
"What are these!" she was frightened by the sight.
The seer sighed, "Test number one failed." She said as she received the baby back from his mother and the seer had to explain all what had happened.
"Noooooo!!" Mia Shouted.
