Accordingly, Mia and Robin were the only two level 1's in the class. Without realizing it, they had been pushed to the back of the group, and Robin was plodding along with his head held down. It seemed to have affected Robin a lot, but the latter had already suspected that this would happen.
Although suddenly, a familiar voice was heard calling out Mia's name. Mia didn't tell Xander her name because of some reasons but Xander had heard her name being called when the test was about to take place.
"There you are!" Xander said. "Heck, people just started jumping all over me. Then all of sudden, I look to my right side, and you're gone. Come on! Let's look around together, friend. You may be a lady but still you're my buddy now."
Mia truly thought that Xander was a strange person, yet that wasn't a bad thing. Xander then noticed Robin who was on his own as well.
"Come on, stop being a downer and you come over here too."
Robin looked up and pointed a finger to himself.
"Who else do you think I'm talking to?" Xander questioned peter.
The three of them continued to hang at the back of the class while the teacher continued to tour around the school. In the midst of the tour, a battle arena was shown to the students, where they had similar testing equipment to the ones filed on the wasteland, as well as several square fighting platforms.
They were also shown their homeroom classes, battle classes, sports rooms, and all sorts of facilities. Dre never failed to provide a little bit of explanation about each area of the school where they visited, However, Mia was uninterested in most of them until they had finally reached the library.
"As you can all see, the library here is split into three floors. First-year students are only able to access the first floor; meanwhile, the second-year students can access the second floor; finally, the last floor is only for Military personnel."
Mia was interested in the library because it contained books that weren't available to the public. Also, she need to know more details and Information about this new world she's in. The year they are and how far it is to the past.
In this place, Mia just might be able to find some information also about her ability, though she just hoped that it would be on the first floor.
Eventually, the tour came to an end as Dre stopped just outside the school's dorms.
"And this is where you will be living during your stay here. Once you have dropped off your things, feel free to explore around the academy. There will be no lessons today, so you will get to have the rest of the afternoon to explore."
Each student was then handed a number written on a piece of paper. These papers displayed which room they would be staying in.
Mia was about to pick hers till a guy bumped onto her and picked the number she wanted to pick.
Mia wanted to kick the guy's ass but the guy started pleading, saying it was a mistake.
As Mia looked over to the place where the numbers where placed, she noticed that it was all gone. All the numbers have been picked.
"Here, this is the last one left." The boy said as he handed a number to Mia. Mia looked at him with a scoff but decided to let him go.
Mia then noticed from the corner of her eye that Xander was coming towards him. She can't help but grumble within herself.
"What is he coming to do again." Mia grinned.
"Hey, Mia what room number did you get?" Xander asked.
"Err 23."
"No way! You're kidding, right? I got the same number. Maybe fate is really bringing us together." Xander said excitedly.
"Maybe" Quinn replied sluggishly. She didn't know why a female like her would be told to live with a boy like him. This new world is getting spoilt compared to the past.
On the other hand, somewhere down the hallway, two other students were having a conversation.
"Woah! What happened to you?" A student said as he looked at his friend.
"I don't know man, some guy just appeared and hit me out of nowhere, forcing me to swap room numbers with a girl."
"Man, should we go and meet him?" The student asked.
"Nah if I saw his wrist correctly, it said he was a level 5. It's best if we just leave it"
