Chapter Fifty one: Infected Physicans

"That's what happened your highness, that caused the delay." Hank explained.
"Alright, before I could meet with that criminal, let me ask about my son's health first. What kind of sickness is he suffering from?" The king asked, a little bit scared of hearing the news.
The prince was staying in the middle of the throne room, while the two physicians were beside him, left and right side.
"Your highness, his highness is suffering from a contagious disease. It spreads rapidly to people who touched him or got closer to him. It is a disease we are yet to confirm what its characteristics are. But we knew that it spreads quickly through physical touch, blood transfusion, incision blades, sweat." Mendel explained, he had planned to say all this to the king, so he could believe that it is all true.
His plan worked out well as the king was so worried about the prince.
"Can't anything be done to heal the prince. I can't see him die of a sickness as such. He's still young to die and he must inherit my throne after I die. Physicians, do something about it." The king requested from the physicians.
"Your highness, there is a solution to his highness sickness." Hank answered.
"What is it, how do the prince gets healed of this sickness?" The king asked, with an anxiety of hearing what the physicians are about to say.
"Your highness, His highness needs to be isolated in a room and then, some herbs will be prepared for him to drink everyday till he's okay. It won't take up to seven days that he would have been healed." Hank answered.
"How do we find these herbs, are they rare to find?" The king asked, praying silently in his mind for a good answer.
"Your highness, the herb is called aristic herb. It makes the user to sleep comfortably by putting him in a comfortable coma state. And I assure you, your highness, he will get over the sickness in just seven days." Hank replied.
"But, who will prepare the herbs for him? Who will be able to go into the house where the prince is being isolated, to serve him the herbs?" The king asked with a worried look on his face.
"Don't worry about that your highness, the herbs will be prepared by some of our slaves and they will be the one to serve the prince in his room." Mendel answered.
"But, what if they do something bad to him?" Asked the king.
"They are not just slave, they are contracted slaves who are already possessed by the gunju spirit. We will have to kill them once they serve the prince with the herbs." Hank replied.
(Gunju spirit is a spirit from the heavenly realm that directs the body it possesses to do whatever it's master orders it to do.)
The two physicians have planned this earlier with the queen. The aristic herb will be used on another person who was sick instead of using it on the prince. The person was a slave and the king could never dare to enter the isolation room given to treat the prince.
About the Gunju spirit, it was all a made up lie. The slave that replaced the prince was the father of all the slaves. The slaves that are supposed to be possessed by the Gunju spirit were being ordered by the physicians that if they want their father to live, they will have to die.
The physicians did this so that the king will think that the slaves were been infected by the disease of the prince.
Their plan had worked perfectly. The father of all slaves replacing the prince. The slaves that are meant to be possessed by the Gunju spirit were told to die if they want their father to live.
The king was happy to hear that the prince will be okay, but then, he noticed something. The two physicians were beside his son,
"Royal Physicans, I recalled you saying that if someone gets closer to the prince, the person will get infected. But, why are you beside the prince. It seems like you are also infected as you stood beside the prince." The king said and the Physicians who had forgotten about it, quickly moved away from the prince.
"I guess that you guys will be the first to be slain." The king said as he called out for one of his knight. He told him what to do and some minutes later, dozens of knights in an iron suit that prevents the wearer from getting infected, came into the throne room as a reply to the king's call.
"I want those two physicians slain, they are both suffering from a disease and it is a contagious one. I won't let them spread the disease to everyone in the palace, so, kill them now before it's too late." The king ordered.
"Yes Your Highness, your wish is our command." The knight said.
The two physicians were scared as they fear themselves from being slain by the knights.
"Please your highness, spare our lives. Spare our lives please!" The two royal physicians begged.
What they said had gotten them into trouble.
"I should spare you and let a whole kingdom to suffer from this disease?" The king said.
The two physicians want to say the truth by telling the King that it was all a made up lie but they knew that it would result into another death.
If they say the truth, the king will still get angry at them for lying to him and for siding with the queen to kill him. So they decided to keep shut as they accepted their lots.
The prince only stood and watched as they were being arrested without doing anything to help them.
They were being slain and the king quickly ordered the prince to be treated. He also called for some other physicians to check on the Prince's health everyday.
But, when the queen heard that the two most trusted of all the physicians were being killed, she started another plan.
