Chapter Fifty Five: Slave trade

The armies of the Sparrow Kingdom entered the Sparrow Kingdom with a sad expression on their faces. They made their way towards the front of the palace while their representative, the master knight, went inside the throne room to report all what had happened to the King.

The master knight reported how med was captured as slave by the blade kingdom and how the crown prince was also captured. Although, the master knight knew that the crown prince doesn't want his father, the king to know about his presence, the knight couldn't help but report to the king that he was also with them, since it was all for the crown Prince's survival.

When the king heard that the crown prince was held as a captive in the blade kingdom, he jumped up from his throne in fury. He didn't believe that it was true. What about the sick crown prince who needs to rest for seven days?

The king rushed towards the room where the crown prince was meant to be kept in for treatment

As he barged into the room, he saw a fat man laying on the bed with some female slaves behind him.

That was when the king realized that the crown prince had lied to him so he could escape from the palace. He felt so disappointed that he went inside his room to rest instead of sitting in his throne.

"Why do you have to do this to me, Smith?" The king soliloquies on the matter.

Back in the blade kingdom, Smith had came up with a plan on how to get the materials to be used to create a new crown.

After sharing what he thought with the blade kingdom, they agreed as they didn't think it is a bad idea to them.

Smith told them that if they could allow him to go back to his kingdom, the Sparrow Kingdom, he would start a slave business that will require people to bid for if they are to buy.

Arma instantly agreed but he told Smith that some of his men will follow him back to the kingdom in case of any problem.

After both parties agreed with each other, they planned to leave as early as possible the next day.

Med was brought out of the dungeon as he was bathed and foods and drinks were given to him.

After he finished eating, Arma also explained what he explained to Smith. Arma was expecting a reasonable reply from him but instead, med kept on cursing at Arma and his men.

Smith tried to stop him but med wouldn't yield as he kept on cursing at everyone.

And as med kept on cursing at them, Arma kept on getting angry. Until he finally ordered his knight to put med back into the dungeon.

"I thought he could follow you along but I don't think he would be useful to you." Arma said.

"Don't worry, that's his personality." Smith said and soon after, they all went to sleep.

The next day, Smith and a group of thirty two blade armies were all ready to leave the blade kingdom for the Sparrow kingdom. Usually, the journey to the Sparrow Kingdom would take up to three days but since they will be riding on horses with no chariots, the journey would only take up to a day and an half.

Finally, they got to the gate of the Sparrow Kingdom, the guards that are guarding the gate were hesitant to open the gate but when they saw that the crown prince was in front of the thirty two blade armies, they quickly informed the master knight who ordered them to open the gate.

As they pass through the city, people were wondering why the crown prince was leading another army into the kingdom. Little did they know that Smith will be doing what could be called defying of human right.

Like the spread of a wide fire, the king had been informed that the crown prince was around.

He dashed out of his room to meet the crown prince but he was surprised when he saw that the blade armies were with him.

"Father, I've heard so much about you. And I already know all what you have done in the past." Smith said as he moved closer to the king before drawing him inside the throne room for a personal discussion.

After they were alone, Smith started speaking, his hands above the king's head.

"As from now on, I am the king of the Sparrow Kingdom." Smith said as he took off the crown that was on the king's head.

The king was shocked as he saw that the crown prince had removed the crown from his head.

"Smith, what have you just done?" The king said in disbelief.

"The blade kingdom had nominated me to be the king of the Sparrow Kingdom that's why I've come to take my crown. I will sort out what you should have done in the past for you." Smith said, as he went towards the throne and sat on it.

Then, Smith began his slave business which started fetching him lots of money. And soon after, they were able to use the money to buy the gems which was used to create a new crown for the idol.

But, instead of stopping the slave trade business, Smith had grown fond of it as he would always capture the people of his kingdom, both young and old, males and females, as slaves.

During the time Smith was in the blade kingdom, Harry, who was Wenden's friend, had tried every of his possible best to kill the queen but all his effort just proved useless. After so many attempts to free Wenden he finally lost hope as he was taken as a slave by Smith while Wenden was slain by king Smith.

"And that's when the stone king invited all the kings of the kingdom to dine with him. And Smith had forced his father to go in his place because of the bidding that will take place the next day in the auction house." The seer said as they read the contents written inside the book.

"That is how the slave trade began in this kingdom." The seer said.
