Chapter Ninety Five: Pretend you don't know.

After Greg was given a hand by Kyra's clone in defeating the four guards that were fighting him, he quickly savaged all types of food that were placed on the table, eating them as he picked them one by one.

"Don't you get tired of eating all the time?" Kyra said, feeling disgusted by the way Mia was eating.

"You know that I'm so hungry and I can't do anything without eating. I won't be able to fight well without some food in my stomach. Let me finish eating this, after this we will leave." Greg said with his mouth full of food.

"Just make it quick and stop eating like a pig." Kyra said and Greg smiled back at her.

But while he was busy eating, lots of guards from the inside and outside of the palace rushed inside the store room as they all had swords in their hands. They were about thirty five in total and they were all equipped with high quality armours and weapons.

"What do we do now, these girls are all in armours. It will be difficult to fight them. Our weapons won't be able to penetrate into their skins." Kyra said.

"That's not a problem for me. I just need to c***k some skulls, you know. You should come up with something great on your part." Greg said as he gulped down a bottle of wine and belched loudly in the air. The belching was so loud that it almost deafened the ears of the guards.

"What the hell, what kind of creature is this??" One of the guards said, terrified at the belching sound that Greg made. It is so ear piercing and it was causing a lot of damage to the ears of the guards who were unable to close their ears.

"Kill those demons!!" A guard shouted, trying to lift the Morales of the other guards that were with him.

They all stood up, despite the discomfort they were feeling in their ears. They won't act like a coward in front of these two thieves.

"Are you ready Kyra?" Greg asked.

"So, so ready." Kyra answered.

"Let's kick the asses of these guys and get out of here!" Greg shouted and Kyra responded by lifting her hands up and saying 'yes'.

' Gosh, what do I do. These guys will be proving too tough for me to fight. I can only slow down their movements and my clone can only fight them..' Roselle thought, but then she recalled something. ' Hey, why didn't I think of that sooner. I can just use one of the skills that I learnt from the conqueror's training system to fight against these guards. I will use my fighting experience to fight these morons. It ain't gonna be too bad, is it?" Roselle thought as she got herself ready to fight the guards.

She would first slow down their movements and later on, strike at them before she could cancel the slow down movement that she used on them.

She took a sword from one of the guards she slowed and with the sword, she started displaying several skills and by luck, the armours of the guards started falling off their bodies.

After the armours of the eight knights she was fighting, fell down the ground, she called out her clone who dealt with the guards more easily since there are no more armour on their bodies.

As she removes the armour of each guards, the clone of Kyra would deal with them by punching and kicking them till they collapse.

Greg on his own part was faring well too. Now that he have his stomach full of wine and different types of food, he was able to do anything. His super strength increased by a 7x and like a super human, Greg dealt with all the guards by slamming their heads which had an helmet onto each other. breaking the spine bones of the body of a guard by lifting it high into the sky and using it as a defense shield against the other guards.

With ease, they defeated all the guards but as they want to leave the store room, that was when Anabelle, Roselle and Mia entered the room.

Roselle and Mia were surprised as they saw that the two thieves were Kyra and Greg.

' What are they doing here. Did something happen or what?' Mia thought. She was hoping that Anabelle won't know hear her thought so she decided to not think about Greg and Kyra. At the same time, she warned Roselle through her mind link skill not to think about Greg and Roselle or else, Anabelle will know that they knew each other.

From what Mia noticed, seer Anabelle is not as powerful and skillful as Seer Liza, her own personal seer. So she didn't think she could see the future like the seer. It is obvious because she can't predict that Greg and Kyra would come to the palace and she can't predict that Mia would be the next kingdom ruler. She only assumed that she would win because she was the conqueror and there was a prophecy that had been prophecied but wasn't told to anyone except the royal officials of the kingdom, which was limited to only one royal family, the family of the first king to rule in the red beast kingdom. And those who had heard the prophecy that was spoken about two hundred years ago in their family are all dead. Anabelle heard the prophecy because she have spent over four hundred years living in the red beast kingdom. So we could say that she is just as old as seer Liza but they only have pretty, young face to cover up their old age.

Mia decided to talk with Greg and Kyra using her mind link skill. Anabelle is unable to listen to what she say through her mind link skill, so she was free to use it as she wish.
