Chapter Eighty One: Mind reader.

Lydia hate the way Kyra was talking and praising Mia. It wasn't like she was jealous, it's just that she didn't feel like the conqueror did anything to help her. Maybe it's because she didn't have any powers like Kyra. She had been thinking of leaving these guys for another area or kingdom, since they couldn't help her with anything else. Maybe if she go to a kingdom like the stone kingdom for training as one of the army, with time she could become a skilled knight or a guild soldier, instead of waiting with Mia for her powers to manifest itself.

What annoyed her most when Roselle spoke was that she made mention of her name. She almost slapped Roselle but she tried to control herself. She don't want to have anything to do with these guys, but Roselle was trying to bring her close.

"Lydia would go first with the conqueror, and then I and James will follow before Greg and Kyra goes. So Lydia-Mia it's your turn to leave." Roselle said.

"What? Can two people leave at once?" Kyra asked.

"I don't know and I'm not talking about the place you went to. We are having a spar with each other idiot." Roselle shouted.

"Ohhh." Kyra exclaimed realizing that Roselle is just kidding her when she said that she would try to go to the place she went to.

"But, what about the place I went to? won't we also visit the place??" Kyra asked.

"Hey guys just try to be reasonable with each other. I know some of us are tired and we are feeling bored of this whole training, there's no need to have any spar anymore." Mia said, her eyes glued at Lydia. She had been silent for some time thinking of what to do about Lydia's case. Because, she really could read Lydia's mind and that alone is making her feel like she is not doing anything as a conqueror. Maybe she need to act more like a leader than a friend.

Actually, this is her first time leading the people under her as she never have the experience of being a leader of some amount of people. She really need to change this before she officially becomes the leader of her own created kingdom, the blazing wings kingdom.

"Guys, I don't want you to think that I'm not doing anything at all. Each one of you are my responsibility even though I have a mission at front to achieve. I care for all of you and I promise to be with you all. I don't want anyone of you to think bad of me or have in mind to escape to another kingdom for protection." Mia said.

"No, no, no. Why would we do that? No one here hates you and it's a stupid idea for someone to leave such a wonderful person like you for some kingdom. Mia, trust us, everyone of us here likes you and that's why we chose to follow you." James tried to assure the conqueror. Unknown to him that the conqueror knew everything they were all thinking. It wasn't a skill but it seem like a natural talent of being a dragon.

"What if one of you guys doesn't seem to like the way I'm doing to you guys. As in, I'm not good enough to protect you. Like I'm not doing my best to help you guys." Mia said.

"It's not--" Lydia was about to say but she stopped midway. She felt bad for thinking low about the conqueror and she was surprised a bit on how the Conqueror knew what she's thinking.

' I need to be careful around the Conqueror. She is incredibly filled with different kinds of power and it's difficult for anything to pass by her without her knowing. But talking about who, I feel bad for speaking low of Mia. I shouldn't have envied Kyra for her powers and accepted my lot of having no special powers, maybe someday my powers will come out of somewhere. I just have to be patient.' Lydia thought within her, feeling sad.

The Conqueror could hear her thoughts and so she tried to do something on Lydia's case.

"You guys should just rest, I need to fight some beasts before the contest begins. After the contest we are leaving for the Blazing wings kingdom and I need to find out how Lydia and James will get a power of their own. Excuse me." Mia stated before heading for the apartment they got to change her clothes into some other outfit.

Lydia was silent but she had in her mind not to leave for any other kingdom.

"What the hell is happening to Mia. She seemed unhappy and confused." Kyra blurted out.

"I need to talk to her." Roselle said, trying to catch up with the Conqueror.

"And I need a shower. I feel so dirty." James said as he head for the bathroom.

"Gosh I'm hungry... I really need a lot of food these days, it seems like my strength powers are advancing and it need more food from me. Won't I go into stealing?" Greg said as he yawned, his mouth was open wide and saliva almost dropped down the ground from his mouth.

"That's disgusting, will you close that your dirty mouth!" Kyra shouted with anger. "And why the hell will you go into stealing? It is not proper, is it?" Kyra asked.

"I'm really hungry and the food we have here is not enough to satisfy my hunger. If I start eating it now it will all be cleared out, leaving nothing for you guys to eat. Will you please follow me for the food hunt, please." Greg begged Kyra who looked at Greg with a Motherly face.

A Motherly face-A look from her sad mother to a sad child, Ahahah.

"That's crazy why would I follow you to steal food. Can't we fight some beasts for some beast crystals, we could still but food using the crystals can't we?" Kyra suggested.

"I can't fight now. I really can't fight when I'm hungry.. please, please, I'm dying here." Greg said in a pitiful tone and Kyra almost started crying.
