     “Blair...”  I kept my eyes focused on Matthew, watching every movement that he made. I heard the crunch of twigs being forced together beneath the weight of his body when he took a step towards me, his movements coming across as uncertain. I felt myself start to frown as I tried to decipher the expression on his face, finding myself thinking that it was something between shock and fascination—with a hint of caution thrown into the mix.       “Was that you?”  His voice sounded as uncertain as his footstep had seemed and I couldn’t help the feeling of anxiety that started to flood through my body.
