We’ve got all day.” Alec went to leave when Bridgette held her finger up. “Alec, listen. Horses used to be her favorite thing in the world. It was men on horses that came to her pack and attacked it. It was that day that she lost her mother and her entire pack, including her father, turned on her. Her brother was barely able to walk, but he grew up with hate and now can’t stand her either.
