Amanda looked stunned. She began to scream and yell as the guards took her away. Angeline was still sitting on Alec’s lap looking stunned. Once they were out and the door closed, Alec looked to Angeline. “Love, what are you thinking?”
“She hits like a five-year-old girl. I’ve been hit harder by my younger brother, Leo.” Angeline shook her head, “So what are the plans for this evening?”
“Well, I have some Alpha work to do here, but you are more than welcome to stay. I think I would prefer it as I may need your input. I’m expecting a call from the twins here shortly, and I want to see if we can all compare notes on something.” Alec said, rubbing Angeline’s back in soothing circles.
Angeline nodded and went over to a bookshelf and looked at the books. “May I read some of these?”
