She's back!!!

Mark's Pov

It's five years since I've seen the love of my life, I tried everything there is to find her and apologize to her for the mistakes, betrayal and all the pain I've inflicted on her. I just want to see her again because i really can't live without her.

I am holding on hope that she may forgive me one day. I even got punched by her cousin Tony in the face for my obsession with coming to his law firm everyday in hopes that he may give me a clue about her whereabouts. He is very angry at me for hurting his little sister but we came to a concession two years ago since I couldn't give up, which i admit drove him crazy. He also helped him a few times to which i am grateful for.

He still refuses to tell me anything related to Kathrine claiming that it's not his place to tell but I won't give up. He cryptically said that I'm still okay because Kathy is smart but I will get what I desire if I play my cards right. That doesn't change the fact that he doesn't want me near her and he made it very clear.

His company is also one of my clients. After the incident with my brother mitchell and lilly, I decided to quit from the Johnson company so I can focus on building my own. My father was not happy with the decision including my grandma but she understood where i was coming from and I told her about kathrine. I've always kept her away from my family drama and the invisible in fighting going on.

She was grinning ear to ear when I described the kind of person Kathy is and all her achievements despite her background which I question sometimes, I also told her about how I broke her heart because of my foolishness and my fear of commitment.

She was disappointed in me for hurting the only girl who truly loved me for me because of my stupidity that she stopped speaking to me for a week. I had never seen her so angry before. She only spoke to me after I told her that I will find her and make it up to her even if it takes me ages since she ruined all the other girls for me. She agreed that I should fight for her after doing a little digging of her own.

She said that she had met kathrine at the airport the day she left but she didn't know who she was. She was smiling ear to ear but she refused to tell me what they talked about.

My parents stopped all my cards and threatened to disown me if I don't go back to work but I didn't care because I already had my own money that I made on by my own two hands. I renamed my company Moon inc. four years ago, Kathy's favorite thing to do was watching the moon so I named my baby after it.

I bought the house next door to Tony in hopes of maybe finding her or run into her during holidays but she never showed up. I'm currently on my way to the hospital to visit my grandma, she was hospitalized two days ago and it isn't looking good. I was in my company earlier today to deal with some issues that may involve authorities.

Someone in my company is leaking information about some of my clients and I already asked Tony for help. My company deals with internet security so we could get sued if this gets out. I am still trying to find out who it is but also taking precaution as to protect my client's safe and their personal information to remain safe. Privacy is valuable in the I.T. world and if it is compromised, it will ruin the credibility of my company.

Tony said that he had the perfect person to help but it's up to that person to agree to help or not. I asked him for help because I need for this situation to remain discreet. I don't know why but i was excited to meet whoever it is he wants me to meet.

I suspect that my family may be involved, they didn't take it well when my business started growing and getting better day by day and that I was independent from them. My grandma wants me to take over the family business and believes that I can uproot the corruption that plagues it. I would love to make her wish come true but i just want peace at the moment and focusing on finding my Kathy.

I still do attend the occasional shareholders meeting and dinner with them but I kept my distance. I don't want their messed up lives to rub off on me. Mom keeps sending girls my way from rich families that she deems to be worthy or that will bring benefits.

I stopped taking her calls because I lost all respect for her when I found her in bed with my former best friend James a month ago. I've realized that I was slowly turning out to be like my father who fu**s anything that walks his way after Kathy left me and I don't want that kind of life. I can no longer look at any girl, my heart and body only has one person in mind and I will stop at nothing to win her back.

I reached the hospital in the private ward, I knock and my grandma yells for me to enter.

"Hey grams" I greet her and ignore the slutty girl who's standing next grandmother and also my mom.

"Mark sweetheart, where have you been?" grandma says.

" Had a few problems at the office grams and I came here as quick as possible. How are you feeling?" I respond to her while looking at the reaction of my family when I mentioned problems at the office.

"Oh!! I'm alright, just old age getting the better of me.". grams says

" You're not that old grandma, you still have lots of life in you" the girl next to mom says throwing saductive glances at me. She looks quite familiar. Since mom wants to play it that way, I might as well play her game and I just remembered when I saw her.

" You are? you look familiar" I ask her.

She smiles like I just told her she won a billion dollars.

" I'm Tammy Hart , I'm the daughter of Jack Hart. we've met before at the parties you used to go to" she says so.

" I don't remember that, oh yeah !! I saw you coming out of the motel a month ago with dad. You two were holding hands, you were also at mitch's holiday house a week ago. James had a huge crush on you but he said that you weren't a good f**k so he gave up. Either way, it was nice to meet you." I said mischievously and winked at my mom.

Tammy looked at me with horror on her face, judging by the way my family reacted , I'm guessing that they didn't know she was playing them.

" The man you told me about is my father?" Mitch asked while glaring at dad.

Dad glanced at mom and acted as if it was normal. Mom slapped Tammy and told her to get out and she ran out like a prey being chased by an even bigger prey .

My family left after a few dramatic lessons from them.

Just as I turned to leave I froze.

Grandma stopped me. She looked very happy like she had won the biggest lottery.

SHE'S BACK" she yelled and I knew in an instant whom she's talking about. I couldn't wait any longer as I fled to find her with out waiting for her to finish her sentence. I heard her roaring with laughter as I left.
