Its been almost 10 years since i saw this place. When i got the call from my distant aunt about the passing of my father. My mind went blank, I didn't even know how to react or what to think. I've hated that man and my mother so much for all they have done or tried to do to me.
I did end up forgiving my mom after she apologized to me and really tried to make amends with me. Although i did forgive her and talk to her frequently from time to time, i don't want to involve myself in her life or the lives of her other kids. She seems to have a good life now with her husband and he seems like a good guy.
She understood that it will take a long time to undo the hurt they had caused which is why they never tried to force me to include them in my life. Both of my parents were obses
