I woke up to a crying baby and pain from my legs. I think it was idiotic if me to think i could give birth naturally like i did with Maddie. I regret it now, i thought i would die when i gave birth. I looked at my phone on the nightstand and reached for it. I gasped when i saw the date on the calendar. We came here on the 2nd of November and i gave birth on the 3rd. The date says 6th of November.
I looked over to a passed out Jason and the crying baby in the crib. I reached out despite the pain and carried my son who looked just like my husband in my arms. I noticed my hospital dress was wet and swollen breast that they were pumping breast milk for him while i was unconscious. I smiled at the little guy who kept sucking on the wet cloth and laughed.
