6 Celia Luke pushed off the back of the couch and stood abruptly. “No.” Both men spoke at the same time, their voices loud, commanding. I took a step backward, surprised by the instant vehemence. “No?” I asked, licking my lips. “While we may have not wanted to marry, we want you,” Luke said, glancing at his brother, who nodded. “Didn’t I just prove that in front of the fire?
