Chapter 36 - Alex
Alex It's been 3 weeks since we arrived at the Blue Lake pack, and I am finally happy. I've not felt this happy or at home since my parents died. Everyone has been so welcoming here, they have taken us in and treated us like family so easily that it just confirms that we made the right move. I'm so glad we made the change. The Smiths have settled in amazingly. It took them some time to get used to the fact that they weren't slaves anymore, that they were free to do as they pleased, that they could talk to anyone they wanted without being shouted at, and more importantly, that accidents can happen without punishments. Poor Emily broke a plate last week. She panicked so much she gave herself a panic attack but Luna Sophia took care of her and I think she's finally realized that she is not
