Yuri didn’t know what had come over him, but as he watched Leif, it just clicked. His theory wasn’t just conjecture; this pulsating electricity was a wolf bond, and Leif was his mate. He’d fight the Goddess Inari herself if she showed up to tell him differently. “Goddess help me,” he thought, now feeling bad he’d thought that. Still, he felt it was true. On another note, what the hell was going on? Why was Leif fighting other wolves, and why was he surrounded by so many? Even though he’d so easily taken care of his opponent a moment ago, Yuri worried these odds weren’t in his favor. From what he’d read, he imagined the leader was an Alpha.
