I blinked in confusion, sitting down to grasp what the staff had just informed me. How could that be possible? Who would clear my debts?
“I’ll just check my mail!” Taking out my phone, I checked my mail inbox. I knew I should have checked before arriving here. So was that the reason the bank emailed me? I was even more confused than before. I checked my email and sure enough, someone had paid off the entire outstanding amount due at the hospital. Tears pricked at my eyes. It would have taken me years to pay it off!
