I could hear yelling from outside. Adonis seemed quite upset. I had never heard him yell in such a manner. Was the guest a woman? I could hear a woman’s voice, too. Was Adonis mad at a woman? What was going on?
I couldn’t curb myself anymore, dashing off to the nearest window to hide and watch what was going on. I wanted to trust Adonis, but the circumstances looked bleak. Was it one of his who*es?
