Marina’s POV I gaped at Adonis with tears in my eyes. I couldn’t believe he was really here. After lying awake with him the entire night, I had just left him for five minutes to freshen up. When I returned, he had left! I thought I had lost him forever. Last night’s events kept on echoing in my mind the whole day, leaving me heartbroken. Drained out of tears, I lost my appetite and stayed locked up the entire day with no energy left in me. Thankfully, granny Rose left me alone to cope with my grief.
