I clamped my mouth shut with my hands at the sight of four wolves chasing us down from the village. How had they found us when we had already left the village?
“I can’t drive faster than this. They’ll catch up on us in no time!” screamed Camila, looking as panic-stricken as I did. My heart sank as I simply nodded, a wave of panic hitting me.
“Has Adonis marked you yet?” yelled Camila while I blinked at her in fear. Why was she asking such a thing now? “Remove your hand and speak, Marina. Has Adonis marked you and claimed you? Then you can connect to him through the mind link. Shifters share a strong mind link with their fated mates if they have marked and claimed them. Didn’t you know that?”
