I could feel her around me. She was crying for me. Had I died? Was she grieving for me? Maybe I was dreaming! Why would she cry for me after rejecting me? I couldn’t hear anything other than faint whispers. It seemed my heart and mind had blocked out everything else to cope with the shock.
