Owen Getting breakfast took forever. But maybe that was because I was anxious to get back to Lorraine, to have our little talk. I prayed that she would open up to me, and that I could find a way to tell her the truth. I tried to think of a way to tell her, to get around my father's command, but nothing came to mind. Especially with each passing minute, I had an awful nagging feeling that I needed to get back. So much so that I couldn't even think of what to say to even break the ice.
