The doctor said my labor would be in two days. My father, however, caused a commotion back at the hospital. He can not accept my decision nor respect it.
Dad was so adamant about aborting the baby because it was a disgrace. A curse, to say the least. He is not happy with my verdict to raise the child.
A new day occurred, and I was relieved. Mom convinced dad not to condemn my freedom. He allowed but in one condition. I have no right to leave the premises of the house, or I’ll see myself homeless.
Although the threat was not frightening me, more so, it was challenging me to live independently.
