Chapter 17: Mating

Liam walked Adam outside. His eyes maintained on his barefoot, shy to have eye contact with Adam.
Adam notices Liam’s silence. He found it cute. Smiling tenderly after his confession in front of Liam’s parents. True to his words, Liam holds a special place in Adam’s heart.
Silence fell upon them as they stood beside the luxurious car of Adam. Adam rubbed the back of his head. “So,” clearing his throat, garnering Liam’s attention. “Shall I take you out on a date this Thursday?” with a shy smile, he said.
Adam goes straight to the point. He’s the type of man who’ll say the words you want to hear just to make you feel loved. A trait that Ivory never possesses. Not unless there’s a change of heart.
