The next morning, Tiara slowly opened her eyes to find herself wrapped in Logan's strong arms. She smiled to herself, feeling content and at peace as she gazed up at him.
Logan stirred, feeling her movement, and opened his eyes to meet her gaze. "Good morning, my love," he said, his voice filled with tenderness.
Tiara smiled and snuggled closer to him, feeling safe and protected in his embrace. "Good morning, Mi vida," she replied, her voice soft and filled with emotion.
As they lay in bed, wrapped in each other's arms, Logan couldn't help but think about what happened. He kissed Tiara softly, feeling his love for her growing stronger with each passing moment. "I never want to let you go, Tiara. You are the love of my life, and I will always cherish you," he whispered, his voice filled with passion.
Tiara felt tears prick at her eyes, feeling overwhelmed by the depth of his love. "I love you too, Logan. More than anything in this world," she replied, her voice filled with emotion.
Logan turned to Tiara and smiled at her. He kissed her forehead and asked, "So, what do you want to do today?" he asked.
Tiara thought for a moment before responding. "I was thinking about going shopping for some baby clothes. Our little one will be here soon, and we need to start preparing for his arrival."
Logan's eyes lit up at the mention of their unborn son. "That sounds like a great idea," he said, excitement evident in his voice. "We can get some of the things we need for the nursery as well. Not too much because we're moving soon."
Tiara nodded, feeling a surge of joy and anticipation as she thought about their little family growing. "I can't believe we're going to be parents soon," she said, her voice filled with wonder.
Logan reached out and took her hand in his. "I know. It's amazing, isn't it?" he replied, a smile spreading across his face. "I can't wait to hold our little boy in my arms and watch him grow up."
Tiara squeezed his hand, feeling the love and warmth that radiated from him. "I know he's going to be just like his father. Strong, brave, and kind-hearted," she said, her voice filled with adoration.
Logan leaned in and kissed her gently on the lips. "And just like his mother. Beautiful, intelligent, and full of love," he replied, his eyes shining with affection.
After their conversation, Logan and Tiara got ready for the day and headed out to go shopping for their baby. They walked through the aisles, picking out tiny clothes and toys for their little one, feeling the excitement building with each passing moment.
As they walked, Logan couldn't help but admire his wife. Tiara glowed with a radiance that only seemed to grow stronger with each passing day. He felt so lucky to have her by his side, and he couldn't wait to start their life as a family.
As they finished their shopping, they decided to grab some lunch at a nearby cafe. As they sat and ate, they talked about their hopes and dreams for their son, imagining all the wonderful things that he would do and see in his life.
Tiara looked at Logan, feeling overwhelmed with love and gratitude. "I don't know how I got so lucky to have you in my life, Logan," she said, her eyes shining with emotion.
Logan reached out and took her hand, feeling his heart swell with affection. "I feel the same way about you, darlin'," he replied, his voice soft and filled with tenderness. "You are everything to me, and I will always be by your side, no matter what.
"You have no idea how happy I am that you chose to do this life thing with me even though I don't know what I did to deserve someone like you in my life."
"Don't say that. You deserve everything good in this world. I know you feel like I was out of your league but I've also wondered if you could have ever looked my way if I wasn't a princess or if my father never arranged my marriage with you."
Logan shook his head, his expression firm. "Tesoro, even if we weren't born into royal families, I would have fallen in love with you just the same. When I first saw you, I knew that I couldn't walk away from you. You captured my heart completely, and I know I didn't show it at first but once I decided I wasn't going to give you away, I knew that I had to do everything in my power to make you mine."
Tiara felt her eyes fill with tears at Logan's words. She knew that he meant every single one of them. "I love you so much," she whispered and pressed a small kiss on his forehead.
Logan leaned in and kissed her softly on the lips. "I love you too, Tiara. And I always will." He paused for a moment before continuing, "But right now, we should probably head back home. I'm sure Mom will start worrying if we don't come back soon. I told her that we will come back early but it's almost five p.m."
Tiara nodded, feeling a little sad that their day out had come to an end.
Logan and Tiara walked through the quiet streets of their small village, the sun setting in the distance. They held hands as they made their way toward their cozy cottage, feeling content and at peace with the world.
As they entered the house, Gail rushed up to them, a worried expression on her face. "Thank goodness you're back," she said, relief flooding her features. "I was so worried when you didn't come back for so long."
Logan and Tiara exchanged a knowing glance before Logan spoke up. "We just went out shopping for the baby. Nothing to worry about," he said reassuringly.
Gail nodded, her expression softening. "I know. And I'm glad you're back. And speaking of the baby, the doctor will be coming in a few hours for Tiara's check-up. I've already arranged everything."
Tiara smiled gratefully at Gail. "Thank you so much, Mother," Tiara said as she hugged her mother-in-law.
Gail waved off her thanks. "It's my pleasure. I'm just happy to be able to assist you in any way I can. I was worried these past three months."
"You don't have to be anymore. Logan will protect me, I know that." Tiara said as she looked at her husband who smiled at her in return.
"I know that, but I can't help but worry. Kaden managed to kidnap you right under our noses and we couldn't figure it out."
"And that's why I'm still saying Logan should've killed the motherfucker when he had the chance."
"Language, Clayton Fairchild!" Gail admonished him.
"I'm sorry, Mother but you know what I'm saying is the truth."
Logan had always known that Clayton would never forgive Kaden for what he did to him that night but now that he had kidnapped Tiara, it was never going to happen and it was guaranteed.
Logan had hesitated then, not wanting to kill Kaden, but now he couldn't help but wonder if Clayton was right. Maybe if he had gone for the heart, Kaden wouldn't have had the chance to kidnap Tiara, and they wouldn't have had to go through the nightmare that they did.
Tiara noticed the furrow on Logan's brow and asked, "What's on your mind, Logan?"
Logan looked at her, a pained expression on his face. "It's just that... Clayton is right. All of this wouldn't have happened if I'd killed him that night."
Tiara shook her head, "Logan, you did the right thing. Killing Kaden wouldn't have solved anything. It would only have made things worse."
Logan nodded, understanding what she meant. He knew that Tiara was right. Revenge wasn't the answer. But still, he couldn't help but feel guilty for not doing more to protect her.
Tiara saw the look on Logan's face and placed a reassuring hand on his arm. "Logan, you did everything you could to protect me. You fought for me with everything you had, and you saved my life. I will always be grateful to you for that.
"You can't blame yourself for what happened. We're safe now, and that's all that matters," she said, her voice filled with love and reassurance. She took his hand and put it on her belly.
"Feel that," she said, as she felt the baby kick inside her. "Our baby is reminding us that we have a new life to protect, and that's what we need to focus on now."
Logan's eyes widened in surprise as he felt the kick. He couldn't believe that there was a little life growing inside Tiara. He put his other hand on her belly as well and felt the baby kick again.
"I can't believe it," he said, his voice filled with wonder. "That's our baby. It was good to know that you are baking a mini-me in that oven but to actually feel it? Baby, I still can't believe it."
Tiara smiled, her eyes shining with joy. "Yes, Logan, that's our baby. And we're going to protect this little one with everything we have."
Logan felt a surge of emotion as he realized the magnitude of what was happening. He was going to be a father, and he couldn't wait to hold his child in his arms. This was not a joke, it was real.
Logan's eyes widened in amazement as he again felt a gentle thump against his hand. He looked up at Tiara, his heart bursting with joy. "That's our baby," he said, barely able to believe it.
He leaned down and placed a soft kiss on Tiara's stomach, feeling the baby kick against his lips. "I love you, little one and I can't wait to meet you," he whispered, his voice filled with tenderness.
Together, they stood in silence, feeling the baby kick and squirm beneath their hands. For a moment, nothing else in the world mattered except the three of them and the love that bound them together.
They were so into their moment that they didn't notice Axel coming in until he spoke. "Your Majesties."
"What is it?" Gail asked him before Logan could. "You don't look like someone bearing good news."
"That's because I'm not, aunt. I have been doing some digging regarding the death of Prince Clayton's mother. I started looking into it before I even came here but then I got so distracted with everything that has been happening and when Her Majesty got kidnapped, I had to focus on that.
"I decided to continue with my investigation yesterday and today I came across something interesting."
"Don't drag this more than necessary, Axel. I want to know who killed my mother and make them pay."
"I remembered that you told me that the queen got you through her cousin who died and asked around. I found people who still remember what exactly happened at that time.
"The queen told you that her cousin gave him her daughter died and that's true but that's not exactly how it happened.
"Apparently she had given birth days before that and gave her daughter up to a blind couple who didn't have a child of their own. She had called her cousin after that and a few days after she called, he came to that small village with a baby boy but people never said anything because they thought he had asked his cousin to look after his child.
"I also wouldn't know about it if I hadn't heard two drunk guys in their forties talk about it or if I hadn't seen her because I thought she was someone else."
Logan instantly knew who he was referring to. That means that the little princess was a spitting image of Malia.
"That can't be true," Malia said and Logan wished that she wasn't in the house.
