Logan nodded, appreciating Ian's genuine vulnerability. "I understand, Ian. And I'd be honored for you to meet Tiara. She has a way of connecting with people and making them feel valued. I'm sure she'll be happy to offer any help she can when the time comes." Ian smiled warmly, his eyes shining with gratitude. "Thank you, Logan. I've been longing for a connection like this, someone who sees beyond the titles and expectations. It's refreshing to have a conversation with you that feels so genuine." Logan placed a hand on Ian's shoulder, a gesture of reassurance. "You don't have to put on a facade with me, Ian. We're family now, and family looks out for one another. I promise to be there for you, no matter what." Ian's expression softened, and he nodded, a sense of relief washing over him. "I believe you, Logan. It means a lot to me to know that there is someone who sees me for who I am and not what I am. I've seen enough deceit and hidden motives within our family, but you're different. Somehow, I trust you even though I've just met you." Logan's heart swelled with pride and determination. He knew the path to reclaiming the throne wouldn't be easy, especially with the complex dynamics at play within the royal family. But having Ian's trust meant they could face challenges together. "Tiara and I will weigh our options carefully before making any final decision," Logan said, his voice filled with conviction. "We'll assess who we can truly trust and who has the best interests of our people at heart. We won't let our judgment be clouded by personal agendas or the allure of power. The legacy we build will be one of fairness, justice, and compassion." Ian's eyes sparkled with newfound hope. "I believe in you, Logan. You have the potential to be a great leader—one who can bring positive change to our kingdom. Count me in on this journey." Logan smiled, gratitude filling his heart. "Thank you, Ian. Your support means more to me than you can imagine. Together, we'll navigate the challenges ahead and pave the way for a better future for our family and our people." Ian smiled at him. "I just hope my father sees that he should step down as soon as possible. I might not be like Adrian, but he is still my father. I would hate to fight him." Logan wanted to ask him if he would fight him if the time came, but then he felt his dragon. He understood why his uncle had made Ian the crown prince, his dragon manifested at a very young age. Logan didn't know there were cases like that. He just assumed that everyone first shifts on their eighteenth birthday, like his mother said. He didn't ask him though, because even though the young prince seemed to be open, Logan didn't know how personal the matter was for him. He would just have to ask someone else, maybe Axel's father because he'd been in the palace all his life. He has to know something. He promised Ian to visit him some other time and that he would bring Tiara with him so that he could ask for her help personally. Logan walked back to his chambers with a mix of emotions swirling inside him. The conversation with Ian shed light on the complexities of their family dynamics and the challenges that lay ahead. He couldn't help but feel a sense of responsibility weighing heavily on his shoulders. As he entered their chambers, he found Tiara sitting by the window, a book in her hands. Her radiant smile greeted him as he closed the door behind him. "Logan, you're back!" Tiara exclaimed, setting aside her book and rising from her seat. "How was your meeting with Ian? I've been eagerly waiting to hear about it." Logan approached her, his gaze filled with a mix of determination and vulnerability. "Tesoro, there's so much we need to discuss. Ian opened my eyes to some harsh realities within this family." Tiara's expression shifted, her curiosity turning into concern. She reached out and held Logan's hands, giving him the reassurance he needed. "Tell me everything, Logan. We're in this together, remember?" Taking a deep breath, Logan began to recount his conversation with Ian, sharing the young prince's candid insights about Adrian's loyalty to their father and the challenges they might face in determining who to trust. "He spoke of Adrian's love and loyalty to their father, even to the point where he might betray us for my uncle's happiness," Logan explained, his voice tinged with disappointment. "I had hoped that Adrian would stand beside us, but now I'm unsure of where his true loyalties lie." Tiara listened attentively, her eyes filled with understanding. "It's disheartening, Logan, but we must be cautious. Our decisions and alliances will shape the course of our journey. We can't afford to overlook any potential risks or let sentiment cloud our judgment. We also can't take one's opinion as the final truth. Axel did say that Adrian loves his father way too much, but he also mentioned that he is a just man, he stands for the truth." Logan nodded, appreciating Tiara's wisdom. "You're right, Tiara. We need to weigh our options carefully and choose our allies wisely. The decisions we make will not only impact our own lives but the lives of our people. These people depend on my decisions to protect them and end their sufferings." Tiara squeezed Logan's hands gently, offering him unwavering support. "I believe in you, Logan. I trust your judgment. You've already proven that you're ready to protect them. We haven't been here for two minutes and you're already forming allies. "Axel told you that there are a lot of people who are willing to fight for you, people who are willing to die in order to protect you. "It's not just one person. There must be a reason why all of them chose that. I'm also one of them. I'd do anything to protect you, to make sure that you are happy and that you get to live. Nothing matters to me more than your life and happiness." A sense of relief washed over Logan as he looked into Tiara's eyes, filled with unwavering faith and love. With her by his side, he felt invincible, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead. "You give me strength, Tiara," Logan said, his voice filled with gratitude. "Your unwavering support and insight are invaluable to me. I couldn't imagine going on this journey without you." Tiara smiled, her love for Logan shining brightly in her beautiful eyes. "And I have told you before, you and I, we are a team. Together, we can overcome anything. Let's trust in our bond and the shared purpose we have in restoring justice to your kingdom." "Our kingdom," Logan corrected her. "Yes, our kingdom." She kept smiling at him as she lay her head on his chest. Logan held her there and kissed the top of her head. In that moment, the weight of their responsibilities seemed a little lighter as they held each other, finding solace in their shared love and determination. They knew the challenges they would face wouldn't be easy, but they also knew they had each other's unwavering support. As Logan's mind drifted to the complexities of the political landscape, he couldn't help but be grateful for Tiara's presence. Her love grounded him, reminding him of the values they both held dear—fairness, justice, and compassion. With Tiara by his side, he felt an indomitable strength coursing through his veins. "Tiara," Logan began. "We will build a kingdom that values its people. We'll ensure that justice prevails and that those who have been marginalized are uplifted. We'll create a legacy of unity and prosperity, not just for our generation but for all generations to come." Tiara looked up at him, her eyes shining with unwavering belief. "I know we can, Logan, and I know we will. We have the power to make a difference, to change lives for the better. We'll use our positions to bring about real change, to build a kingdom that we can be proud of." "Just like it was before all of this madness started." They hadn't heard Gail arriving. "I just wish we didn't have to do all of this, that your uncle gives the throne to you peacefully." "Mother, we both know it won't be possible. My uncle had been on that throne for 19 years and even if he did realize that it wasn't his in the first place, he would never give it to me without any fights." "I know that but I just don't want bloodshed. I know it will get there eventually and I'm not asking you to give up." "If my uncle was a good king, I wouldn't ask him to vacate the throne for me. I would just let it be and pretend that I don't exist. I know it wasn't my choice in the beginning and I didn't really know who I really was, it was easy to live an average person's life. I can do it again." "But that's not the case," Gail said silently. Logan noticed the sadness in his mother's eyes, understanding the weight of her concerns. He reached out and held her hand, offering her comfort. "Mother, I appreciate your love and worry about us. I share your desire for a peaceful resolution, but we have to face the reality of the situation. Our kingdom needs us, and we cannot turn away from our responsibilities." Tiara, ever perceptive, joined the conversation. "Mother, I understand your fears, but we must remember that the fight for justice often comes with sacrifices. Our actions today will shape the future for our people, and we cannot shy away from the challenges ahead." Gail sighed, her eyes filled with a mix of resignation and determination. "I know, my dear. It's just hard for a mother to accept that her child must face such dangers. But I trust you both. You have the strength, wisdom, and compassion to lead our kingdom to a brighter future." Logan squeezed Gail's hand reassuringly. "Mother, we will do everything in our power to minimize harm and protect our people. But we cannot allow fear to paralyze us. Together, with the support of our allies and the determination of our hearts, we will prevail." Tiara nodded, her resolve firm. "Logan is right, Mother. You, Axel, and his father have spent years preparing for this moment, gathering support from those who believe in our cause. They have built a network of trust and loyalty that will help us navigate the challenges ahead. We will not be alone in this fight and, most importantly, we can't let them down." Gail looked at the two of them, her eyes filled with a mixture of pride and sorrow. "You have grown into remarkable leaders, both of you, and I can't believe it's been less than twenty-four hours. Remember to stay true to yourselves and your values. Our kingdom needs leaders who are just, compassionate, and willing to make difficult choices." Logan and Tiara shared a knowing glance, reaffirming their commitment to each other and the path they had chosen. Gail's eyes softened as she gazed at the young couple before her. "I will be by your side every step of the way, supporting you in any way I can. You are not alone in this fight, and I will do everything in my power to protect both of you." "Count me in on whatever you guys are planning." "Me too. I want to be part of this adventure." All three pairs of eyes looked at the new arrivals. Logan didn't know if his eyes were deceiving him but standing right in front of the door were three identical guys that looked a few years older than him. "Me too." The third guy spoke, wearing a smile on his face that Logan thought made him look like a girl.
